Assassin’s Creed 3 best UK prices: Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco
When we hear that Assassin’s Creed 3 looks set to be a far better game in terms of sales when compared to previous titles in the franchise, this gets us thinking as to what deals or promotions are currently running in the UK at the moment. The usual suspects who usually have the best UK prices are Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s, so have they got anything special running with AC3?
The simple answer would be kind of, looking on each of their websites their prices are not that different, but are just about different to help sway your decision. However, Sainsbury’s seems to have pulled their price out of a hat. Asda is selling Assassin’s Creed 3 for £37.97 on the Xbox 360 and the PS3, they currently have no PC version on their website.
Sainsbury’s are the most expensive of the three, as their console versions of AC3 is a shocking £42.99. Tesco has the middle ground; they are offering those console versions for £39.91. Again there’s no price for those who wish to purchase the PC option.

It’s worth noting that those who wish to get the Assassin’s Creed 3 Join Or Die Edition will have to pay £52.97 on both consoles from Asda and Tesco.
While this may not be the price war that we had hoped to see in the UK, saving a few extra pounds in one store over another is certainly worth your while. However, we’re sure that these same supermarkets will up their game as we get closer to the release of Black Ops 2 – then again there’s also Halo 4 to consider as well.
It’s a different story in the US though because they have a number of great offers on for those who pre-order their copy of Assassin’s Creed 3 while they still have a chance. Some of the bonuses that are on offer include, exclusive DLC, unlocks, extra missions and much more, all of which can be seen here.

I ordered the freedom edition directly from Ubisoft. £80 for the game, an awesome statue, all the DLC, artwork, washingtons diary etc was worth it. Assassins creed is my favourite series of all time !
Dude, I got mine from Simply Games, and it cost less than £36 with free delivery. Yeah it's online, but I'd never buy games at supermarkets.... there's a large range of places where you can buy games in the UK for less other than Asda, Tescos and Sainsbury's.
