Latest Medal of Honor: Warfighter Xbox 360 issues

It’s no secret that Medal of Honor: Warfighter is not the game that we had been hoping for, although we have to point out that EA’s latest FPS is No.1 in the UK games charts, knocking off FIFA 13 in the process. We always expect new games to have a few issues, but MoH: Warfighter has had plenty of them, and it seems that the Xbox 360 version is the bigger victim.

Like Assassin’s Creed 3 there was a day 1 patch for Warfighter, but these fixes did not resolve all the issue. The latest problem for the game is to do with the achievements, as they don’t seem to unlock after players have meet the requirements. There are reports of three achievements being unable to unlock, and those are ‘Squad Leader’, ‘Global Warfighters’ and finally ‘Warchief’.

Some PS3 owners have also said that they are having the same issues, but it does seem to be more isolated to the Xbox 360 version of Medal of Honor: Warfighter. EA has yet to comment on these issues, but we expect to see another fix released in the not too distant future. Let’s not act too surprised though, it’s not like this is the first time that such bugs have appeared in a game shortly after its release.

While we have tried our best to be positive about the game, Warfighter is doing its best to try and be a sequel that gets remembered for all the wrong reasons. Not only was the beta considered a fail, the huge number of issues on day 1 have all led to it getting a disappointing Metascore of 57 out of 100. It’s hoped that as more improvements are made this score will increase, but it’s not looking too good at the moment.

Things are not all bad though because there are a few reviews out there that are very positive about Warfighter, such as this one. They understand that it’s not the best shooter out there, but it’s still an enjoyable game; we’d love to know if you feel the same?
