Modern Warfare 4 announcement too close to Black Ops 2
One of the more memorable characters in the Modern Warfare games is Captain Price, so imagine the excitement when we learned from the actor who supplies Price’s voice, Billy Murray that he had confirmed that he was about to start work on the next chapter in the series. However, it has come as no surprise to us that Infinity Ward has made an announcement in regards to this Modern Warfare 4 claim.
It looks as though Infinity Ward has distanced themselves from the claim stating on Twitter that they have not spoken with any of the voice actors. Let’s not think for one moment that Billy Murray was lying or getting a little old before his time, as it’s more plausible that Infinity Ward would not want to make any sort of MW4 announcement so close to the release of Black Ops 2.
If I were a betting man then I would say that an announcement would be made maybe around February or March and I also expect something a little special this time. The engine has been used for the past four games now, so it’s about time that a new engine was created, not only because the engine is now looking a little tired, but also the fact that it needs to be ready for next-gen consoles.
Interesting news today, but it’s not true. We’ve not talked with any voice actors, so all news is speculation.

As for the direction of the next Modern Warfare game there has been a mixed response to this, while some gamers acknowledge that the same old Russian theme is getting a little boring, they also agree that they would hate it to be set in the future like Black Ops 2. Having said that, there have also been suggestions that going into space or even time travel would be pretty cool.
However, most fans of the franchise will hate such ideas and prefer more plausible ones because they would hate Modern Warfare 4 to be too much like Halo. There are so many different story options but yes we do agree that they need to move away from the Russian’s now.
If this rumor is true – and we have no reason to doubt it – then we’d love to know your ideas for Modern Warfare 4.

I've commented here before, but you're right...as the guy who was sat next to him on the plane - he spoke to me as if I knew that a 4th game in the MW series was coming. He didn't speak about it as if it was anything that should have been top secret. He is definitely meeting someone on Monday to discuss his voice on the 4th MW game and I have no reason to believe he was lying. Regardless of what IW has tweeted, I was sat right with him when he said it. As of now IW are right, they have not talked to voice actors - he's talking to them on Nov 5th - a meeting which has been arranged for some time between them and his agent.
