Fighting Black Ops 2 Zombies gameplay temptation

Having already reported that Black Ops 2 has been released 2 weeks early for a select few lucky gamers, it has now become a huge issue for Activision because they have been issuing out notices for those who have decided to upload several Black Ops 2 Zombies gameplay videos. It’s clear that this is in breach of copyright infringement, and still these videos have appeared on YouTube.

We’ve already noticed a number of these videos have been deleted from YouTube, so proof that Activision flexing their muscles has worked. We would never put any such video on our website for two reasons, one of them is to not fall foul of Activision’s wrath and the other is to not upset our readers, as many of them have already been finding it hard fighting this temptation, so we don’t want to make it any harder for them.

From the videos that we have seen they have been of a poor quality (yes we thought it would be okay for at least one screenshot) but it was still enough to get gamers excited. Having said that, after viewing one of the Black Ops 2 Zombies gameplay videos (while they were live) for several seconds we felt as though we were spoiling things for ourselves a little, so decided to hit the stop button.

In regards to the latest Call of Duty title leaking two weeks early we can’t say we’re surprised, as this kind of thing happens all the time. Firstly these retail copies would have to be shipped out at least two weeks before the official release to the retailer. Secondly if you have an independent game store they will find it much easier to release a game earlier than allowed when compared to a huge retailer.

On a final note, how come whenever someone puts up leaked footage of a game they are always recorded with a jerky camera, it’s as if they are recording footage of gameplay while on a treadmill or something?
