Next StarCraft 2 expansion sets clan limits
The next expansion for StarCraft 2 will be named Heart Of The Swarm, and along with the new content in the new version along with some fixes and functions as well. However, the biggest addition will be clan support but will come with limits.
What this new clan support will entail is a dedicated chat support just for clan members, much like the guilds in World Of Warcraft. It’s not just about chat support though, as you will also be able to view info and news on each clan member as well. However as mentioned above there are limits to these clan names.
The length of the clan names has to be 3-24 characters in length and will also be case sensitive. Clan tags have to be 2-4 characters in length and cannot contain numbers, commas etc. Both these also have to stick to standard naming policies and also there can only be a maximum of 50 members in each clan.

The StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm BETA Patch Update 2.0.1 is now live and has a host of new features, such as menu screens, leveling system, improved physics effects, improvements to the UI and several bug fixes. Let’s hope that all these bugs have been resolved in the new beta patch. We’d love to know what your thoughts are after downloading this latest patch. Review the full patch notes here.
It’s clear to see that the best part of this expansion is the clans, and the video below shows that excitement. The video goes into a huge amount of detail, so helps prepare you, just wonder if you’re as excited as the guy in the video?
