Black Ops 2 multiplayer and zombies fix inbound
A fix for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is expected to be coming soon to rectify problems with leaderboad resets, as many gamers have been seeing their multiplayer and Zombies data disappear. Treyarch has acknowledged this problem and are currently working to sort this out as soon as possible.
Apparently those who have experienced this problem can still see the amount of time they have invested along with ratios concerning kills, deaths, win and losses, however they are not reflected as far as leaderboard stats or placing is concerned. The expected update is reported on CVG along with empathy for those hardened Black Ops 2 veterans that are upset about the amount of time they have invested in the game, to then have their stats reset.
In other Black Ops 2 news, our most recent post spoke about sales being down 81 percent, however this is still an improvement over Modern Warfare 3, and during the second week after launch Black Ops 2 is up 15% over MW3 in the same period last year. New entry Hitman Absolution is challenging for the top spot coming in at number two in the UK all formats chart, and this title looks set to smash the franchises record held by Hitman Blood Money with tripling first week sales.
Looking at Black Ops 2 on various consoles, we recently spoke about the graphical capabilities of the game on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as the new Wii U system. All current consoles will now be put up against each other for visual comparisons and it has been noted that the Wii U and Xbox don’t have much in the way of differences, however the PS3 is lagging behind the pair and the PC version looking better than they all do. As far as performance is concerned, the Wii U seems to fall short behind the PlayStation 3 with the 360 fairing better than both do.
The seasoned systems both seem to be more superior when it comes to gameplay, yet the Wii U is said to match the PS3 in a range of gameplay scenes. This has given some gamers to remark about titles made for a specific hardware, as it is rare that games will run as good as the console it was built for. With that in mind, we are interested whether you agree with what has been said about Black Ops 2 on each console.
