Diablo 3 patch 1.0.8 to improve co-op, PS3 expectation
Fans of Diablo 3 on the PC will be pleased to know all this talk about a PS3 version has not stopped Blizzard from continuing their efforts to improve the game. Those who have issues with the co-op can rest assure the company aims to make some improvements with the Diablo 3 patch 1.0.8 for PC.
When it comes to Diablo 3 PS3 owners are hoping these problems will be sorted from day one as Blizzard conceives playing with others “can often feel not worth the effort“. According to a report on Eurogamer, Wyatt Cheng the senior technical game designer admits that Diablo 3’s co-op has not been “living up to its full potential“, and that some gamers would rather play a solo experience.
More choices are available when playing solo, although the co-op has its benefits, even if the social features could do with some enhancements. The Diablo 3 patch 1.0.8 for PC gamers will add matchmaking tags for public players and this intends to make life easier for gamers to find groups with preferential play styles, as well as extra experience points giving users an incentive to play with others.
In addition, there will be a reduction in monster health, along with Identify All; combat alerts, like Elite found and private chat. In our most recent Diablo 3 post we highlighted a high expectation for Diablo 3 on the PS3 with many console specific improvements being made to the game, making this popular title accessible for console owners.
Some of the lead designers have mentioned a game hand-built specifically for the PS3 with the removal of the Real Money Auction House and the chance to play with up to three friends, we also get the impression other consoles could be considered for Diablo 3 such as the Xbox 360 and the Wii U.
Would you love to see this popular PC game brace as many platforms as possible? We are sure the Diablo 3 fanbase will increase dramatically if this is the case.
