Nexus 7 2nd generation gains release date window

With cheaper Android tablets on the market consumers are getting some great deals as the Nexus 7 2nd generation looks set to be another great addition to the world of iPad minis and other more expensive devices. According to reports the Nexus 7 Version 2.0 will be the first Android device to show off the Key Lime Pie and could sell for around $199.

The rumoured release date is expected this July going by a report on IBTimes and this will be another product much like the Google Nexus 7, which has amounted in even more competition for Apple and their strong grip on this market.

Its seems this new version will improve on the last edition aiming to be a big hit with consumers and the 1080p display goes some way to pleasing the crowds. The quad-core processing chip will come from either Qualcomm or NVIDIA and reports suggest this will be a heavy tablet with a matte back cover finish, which is ideal for those who don’t want the added cost of a protection case.

Other perspectives give us the opinion the Nexus 7 2nd generation tablet will be lighter and thinner, so do you think the new Nexus will provide sturdy competition for other popular tablets?
