PlayStation Plus free games for May 2013

This month sees some great additions to the world of PlayStation Plus, as subscribers will get the opportunity to play some new titles that will be joining the instant game collection. One of my personal favourites is Sleeping Dogs and after completing a physical copy and giving it back to my friend I must admit it was an enjoyable game that I have contemplated getting at some point.

Sleeping Dogs is not a particularly long game but those of you who love titles like GTA are bound to enjoy the open world play, and I especially loved the combat involved. This alone has given me reason to think about signing up to PlayStation Plus even though there are plenty of other enticing offers available.

Highlighting some of the new additions to this service, PlayStation Blog mentions the new games coming this month and the discounts on offer for those looking for a bargain, as well as the terms and conditions of becoming a member.

Out of the free games available Sleeping Dogs goes for $49.99 on the PSN so being a PS Plus member is very advantageous. Throughout my experience with Sleeping Dogs I found this addictive and enjoyable with a refreshing setting of Hong Kong and battles with the triads.

In addition to the free game, members can also receive 3 premium DLC packs, which include the Street Racer Pack, the Retro Triad Pack and the Red Envelope Pack.

Other free titles involved are Knytt Underground, Germinator, BlazBlue and Pinball Arcade and descriptions on these can be seen through link provided above along with titles leaving PlayStation Plus this month. The games leaving are Demon’s Souls today, Mega Man 9 & 10 Combo Pack next week and both Tekken 6 PSP and Darksiders on the 21st May along with Zombie Tycoon 2 on the 28th May.

Sleeping Dogs has been one title that members have been demanding for some time, so we can imagine many fans will be pleased about this title making its way to PS Plus. Are you glad to see Sleeping Dogs being made available on the Instant Game Collection? Alternatively, were you hoping to see more discounts this month?
