With many individual stories for each superhero leading up to the popular Avengers movie, the characters require some relevance when it comes to gathering them up for another collective showdown. This is where certain aspects have to match up making the unbelievable seem more believable and according to reports this could be why specific scenes had to be rewritten for Thor: The Dark World.

As they powers that be take on the job of making The Avengers: Age of Ultron ready for release by 2015, writer Joss Whedon talks about how signing up to do a sequel for the 2012 blockbuster means their ambition is to create another movie that will take control of the direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is where Joss Whedon’s expertise is required, although Marvel do not intend to give up any secrets just yet.

In an article on Cinema Blend they discuss Whedon having to rewrite three scenes for Thor: The Dark World, as the specific scenes in question were too hard for the director, Alan Taylor to work with. According to a quote by Taylor, Joss Whedon was there on a few occasions to save their lives, and in certain situations where a few scenes were not working Whedon flew in to the rescue providing more humour and surprises to the initial scenes.

Apparently, Joss Whedon has been called in previously to assist with the likes of both Thor and Captain America, so we are intrigued to know what scenes were picked and why, although we may find out more as we draw closer to the November 8th release of Thor: The Dark World.

As for the 2015 Avengers: Age Of Ultron movie we recently spoke about praise for the new villain Ultron played by James Spader. With Tom Hiddleston’s Loki taking a rest from intimidating the Avengers highlighting his admiration for the new robot villain played by Spader, backing the actor and the character through his Twitter feed.

We also highlighted the return of the Avengers team with the possibility of new characters also making an appearance, although we are unsure about rumours suggesting the introduction of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. With that in mind, what other characters would you like to make an appearance in the Avengers: Age of Ultron?
