Assassin's Creed 4 1.04 patch needed after 1.03 problems

The PS4 version of Assassin’s Creed 4 received its 1.04 patch yesterday and from what we can make out it has not been very well received. This is because several gamers have been experiencing problems and are now hoping that Ubisoft release version 1.04 sooner rather than later.

Ubisoft has issued a statement saying that they are investigating the issues, which concerns the multiplayer portion of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. The problems with the game are far more serious than you might think, as some players have said how since updating to version 1.03 on the PS4 it has reset all the progress they made in multiplayer mode.

One user said that he had been prestige level 42, yet after the update he has now been reverted back to level 1. Another player said that since updating to the latest AC4 patch there seems to be no one online, or no sessions at least.

This has left some players actually too scared to login into multiplayer, as they fear losing all of their progress.

It’s a real shame because the Assassin’s Creed 4 version 1.03 promised so much, which you can see in the full patch notes on GameZone.

We’d love to know if you have had these issues and if so what do you think the chances are of ever getting your progress back?

On a happier note, the Illustrious Pirates DLC has recently been released, which we have more details on here.
