FA Cup Draw time, date and coverage for BBC

Obviously every football fan is interested in the FA Cup draws for the 2014 – 2015 football season, with the first round draw taking place at the National Football Centre at St. George’s Park in front of a live audience.

However, if for some reason you can’t be part of that live audience for the first round of the FA Cup Draw on Monday the 27th of this month, you might like to know that the FA Cup Draw is returning to Mondays with a new early evening slot, reports the BBC.

That new slot means the FA Cup Draw coverage will be presented by Mark Chapman, and shown on BBC Two at 1900 – 1930 BST, and also Radio 5 Live.

Mark Cole of BBC Sport has said… “We’re delighted to bring back the tradition of the FA Cup draw on Mondays. We hope the new early evening show will generate a great interest for our audiences on TV, radio and online.”

BBC Sport is also set to take the FA Cup draws ‘live on the road’ visiting different venues across the country, and will include a few surprise locations throughout the season.

Matt Philips the FA’s FA Cup media officer has said, “The draw at St George’s Park is going to be a very special occasion and totally different to anything we’ve done before with a studio audience that will represent all levels of our national game. The FA Cup is a real adventure and we’re delighted that the BBC will be there to tell the story to football fans across the globe.”

The first round will see 40 ties drawn, as 48 League One and League Two clubs join the non-league clubs that have fought they way through qualifying.
