If you happen to enjoy movies about finance, especially banks and a global economic meltdown, then you might enjoy drama The Big Short, a movie that features a star-studded cast and is due release later this year.

The first trailer for The Big Short has now become available, which you can see below, and tells the tale of when four outsiders saw what the media, big banks and government refused to see, the global collapse of the economy.

With thee banks getting greedy, the four outsiders come up with a big idea, The Big Short, where their bold investment takes them into the dark underbelly of modern banking where they question everything.

Based on the true story and best-selling book by Michael Lewis, The Big Short is directed by Adam McKay, and stars Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, Karen Gillan, Selena Gomez, Marisa Tomei, Melissa Leo, Finn Wittrock, and Byron Mann.

Personally The Big Short doesn’t do anything for me, but no doubt there will be many tempted to se e the movie because of its star-studded cast, and they will be able to see the film when it hits cinema screens on the 24th of December this year in the USA, whilst currently there is no release date set for the UK.
