The Boy first trailer looks grippingly scary


For those of you that love horror flicks and especially horror flicks that feature scary looking dolls that come to life and threaten your existence, you just might get right into The Boy, a movie about a family that have replaced their son with a life sized doll.

The first trailer for The Boy has now become available, which you can view below and in which a nanny is hired to look after the parents son in a creepy looking house obviously, but it turns out that their son is a doll that they treat like a real boy.

The parents give the nanny a set of rules which she must follow when looking after the doll, which turns out to be a replica of their dead son Brahms who died some 20-years before, but when she doesn’t follow the rules the doll comes alive and the horror ensures.


Directed by William Brent Bell and written by Stacey Menear, The Boy stars Lauren Cohan, Rupert Evans, Ben Robson, Diana Hardcastle, Jim Norton, Jett Klyne and James Russell.

As for when horror movie fans will be able to see The Boy, the movie is due to hit cinema screens on the 22nd of January 2016 in the USA while there is currently no release date set for the UK…enjoy the footage.
