The Big Short new trailer goes behind shady banking business

Have to say right off the bat that The Big Short isn’t my kind of movie, but there are those that enjoy delving into the world of banking and finance, and The Big Short delves into the shady business of banks getting greedy.

The first trailer for The Big Short arrived back in September, and now Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer although I’m not too sure if it has any new footage to speak of, as to be honest the film seems to be heavy on talk rather than action.

The Big Short is based on the true story and best-selling book from Michael Lewis and tells the story of when four outsiders saw what the big banks and government refused to see, the global collapse of the economy, and so the outsiders came up with an idea, The Big Short, an investment that leads them into the dark underbelly of modern banking.

Directed by Adam McKay, The Big Short stars Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Finn Wittrock, Marisa Tomei, Steve Carell, Karen Gillan, Selena Gomez, Rafe Spall, Melissa Leo, and Max Greenfield.

The Big Short is due a limited release in the US on the 11th of December followed by a wider release on the 23rd of December, and will release here in the UK on the 22nd of January.
