The 2008 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to former Finnish president and IRA weapons inspector Martti Ahtisaari, for his peace mediation work. The Norwegian Nobel Committee stated that Astisaari was recognized for his important efforts. (read more…)

I was a big fan of the British version of Life on Mars; the TV show was pure genius with Gene Hunt playing the best character. This is just the latest British TV show to cross the Atlantic, as the U.S. version had its first airing last night. (read more…)

David Kernell of Knoxville, Tennessee has been indicted by a grand jury for hacking in to the emails of Sarah Palin. He had gained her Yahoo! account without authorization. Kernell, 20 is the son of Mike Kernell, a Democratic lawmaker. (read more…)
