Noel “NO” to Solo

Reports that Oasis singer Noel Gallagher is to go solo has been denied. The official website stated that noel would be going neither solo nor performing at the Glastonbury festival.

Oasis brothers Noel and Liam have had their problems in the past but are to have a quite summer concentrating on new material. The Manchester band formed in 1991 made their name with hits such as Champagne supernova and Wonderwall.

According to reports Jay-Z’s headline performance at the Glastonbury festival on Saturday is said to have helped boost his record sales. Jay Z’s 2004 single 99 Problems is set to go straight into the Top 25 of the UK singles chart this weekend and also his Linkin Park duet Numb/Encore, which he closed his Glastonbury set with, is also likely to return to the Top 40.
