Last night there was an extra-special added bonus to the Hancock premiere in Hollywood because leading man Will Smith and his old partner in rap, DJ Jazzy Jeff performed a surprise concert. It has been reported that Bon Jovi will play a free concert in Central Park on the 12th July. The show, which is said to be an “All-Star Concert in Central Park,” will take place in conjunction with the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, which is set for 15th July at Yankee Stadium. (read more…)

It has just been announced that Nelson Mandela has flown to London to hang out in Hyde Park with Queen and the Sugababes. Nelson Mandela who was the former President of South Africa has come out of retirement to help raise funds for the 46664 campaign which raises awareness of HIV-Aids in Africa. Nelson Mandela isn’t 90 until the 18th July but I am sure that tonight he will enjoy the concert. (read more…)

It looks like it just night be touch and go as to whether Amy Winehouse will indeed make it to her scheduled appearance at Friday’s Nelson Mandela concert because for some reason she did not turn up at today’s photo call. Amy did confirmed that she will sing at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert despite being diagnosed with early stages of emphysema. (read more…)

It has been reported that Nelson Mandela has banned Naomi Campbell from appearing on stage at his 90th birthday concert. It’s said that he is reportedly so upset by Naomi’s behaviour over the past few months which includes her assaulting two police officers on a British Airways flight in April and being sentenced to 200 hours community service for the offence he has personally requested she be taken off the programme from the event in London tomorrow.
