Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Concert in Hyde Park

It has just been announced that Nelson Mandela has flown to London to hang out in Hyde Park with Queen and the Sugababes. Nelson Mandela who was the former President of South Africa has come out of retirement to help raise funds for the 46664 campaign which raises awareness of HIV-Aids in Africa. Nelson Mandela isn’t 90 until the 18th July but I am sure that tonight he will enjoy the concert. (read more…)

Amy Winehouse no show at Nelson Mandela concert photo call

It looks like it just night be touch and go as to whether Amy Winehouse will indeed make it to her scheduled appearance at Friday’s Nelson Mandela concert because for some reason she did not turn up at today’s photo call. Amy did confirmed that she will sing at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert despite being diagnosed with early stages of emphysema. (read more…)

Nelson Mandela has banned Naomi Campbell from his 90th birthday concert

It has been reported that Nelson Mandela has banned Naomi Campbell from appearing on stage at his 90th birthday concert. It’s said that he is reportedly so upset by Naomi’s behaviour over the past few months which includes her assaulting two police officers on a British Airways flight in April and being sentenced to 200 hours community service for the offence he has personally requested she be taken off the programme from the event in London tomorrow. Amy Winehouse to have medics on standby at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Gig

As we know Amy Winehouse is currently in hospital and is so desperate to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Concert and Glastonbury that she plans to play through the pain barrier. Fragile Amy is so determined not to let her supporters down, or miss out on the chance to play for her most famous fan at Friday’s gig in London’s Hyde Park. Amy will have a special St John’s ambulance crew on permanent standby for her who was hospitalised with emphysema last week. (read more…)
