It has been announced that a number of the biggest names in British TV and sport, have been awarded gongs in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. Countdown presenter O’Connor who is now 76 gets a CBE. He said he was “delighted” with his award but confessed: “I haven’t done a day’s work in my life. I’ve done a day’s effort but not work, because it’s something I love.” (read more…)
