It has been reported that George Clooney and Bruce Springsteen have joined politicians and journalists in honouring the memory of U.S. political heavyweight Tim Russert, who sadly died last Friday. Bruce who was Tim’s favourite rocker, took time to pay tribute to Tim during a concert in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday night and then dedicated Thunder Road to him. (read more…)

It has been announced that funeral arrangements for Tim Russert have been scheduled for this Wednesday which is the 18th June. The funeral and memorial service will take place at 4pm in Washington’s Kennedy Centre. The funeral services will be closed to the public, but will be televised by MSNBC and made available for broadcast by other media outlets. (read more…)
