It has been announced that A new Michael Jackson song has appeared online sparking rumours that he is making his long awaited come back. The song called ‘Hold My Hand’, featuring Akon has cropped up on various websites including You Tube but the video has now been taken down due to copyright issues, which is a shame because I would love to hear the new song and I am sure many of you would to. According to reports Jay-Z’s headline performance at the Glastonbury festival on Saturday is said to have helped boost his record sales. Jay Z’s 2004 single 99 Problems is set to go straight into the Top 25 of the UK singles chart this weekend and also his Linkin Park duet Numb/Encore, which he closed his Glastonbury set with, is also likely to return to the Top 40. Now we all know that Amy Winehouse lost it at the Glastonbury festival at the weekend but what made it worse was that she stunned Jay-Z with her fiery temper launching a scathing verbal attack on his friend Kanye West. Amy hit the headlines for attacking a fan in the crowd at the music festival during her spot on Saturday but headliner Jay-Z was more put out by the singer’s comments about Kanye West minutes later. Yes Amy Winehouse turned up at Glastonbury last night and performed on the Pyramid Stage but her obnoxious behaviour tainted what should have been a magical comeback set. I don’t think that she should have been aloud to perform at the concert she still clearly needs help. (read more…)

Kate Nash was one of the first to open up this years Glastonbury Festival on the Pyramid stage at 10.50am (BST). Kate’s stage set had an under-the-sea theme, with her piano situated in the middle of half an oyster shell. It has just been reported that thousands of festival goers are stuck traffic because all the roads have been closed around Glastonbury due to a massive fire at a scrap yard which is just one mile from the Worthy Farm site. It’s said that the fire has caused the evacuation of residents living near by, but people at the festival already have not been asked to leave yet. (read more…)
