Carlos Zambrano will miss Cubs next start


It looks as though the Cubs expect Carlos Zambrano to miss the only one start following an MRI. The test revealed that Zambrano has an inflammation and rotator cuff tendinitis in his right shoulder. He has had an anti-inflammatory injection, which should hopefully ease the pain. (read more…)

NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results: Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet Win


For those of you who wish to know the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results, it was Jimmie Johnson and his No. 48 Lowe’s/Jimmie Johnson Foundation Chevrolet. Johnson won the Pepsi 500 in front of a crowd of 70,000; it was his 36th victory in 244 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao to fight December 6


We all thought that the biggest fight in years was called off, but it now seems that the bout is back on again on December 6, in Las Vegas. Oscar De La Hoya has now agreed to take on Manny Pacquiao, the rising superstar.

Mark Kotsay close to Boston Red Sox deal


Mark Kotsay, the brave center is so close to a deal with The Boston red Sox, rumors are all over the net as the trade must happen before Sunday. This is the deadline for setting the postseason rosters.

Mets Squander 7-0 lead against the Phillies: Collapse Worries


The Mets might start to hear the word collapse a lot in the future, after the team squander a 7-0 lead against the Phillies. The Mets lost 8-7 loss in 13 innings, this is nothing compared to the seven-game lead that they blew in the final 17 games last year.
