Shawn Johnson has won her first Gold for her balance beam routine at the Beijing Olympics. Johnson put in a defiant routine one that no one could match; apart from just a small step on her landing she did not put a foot wrong. (read more…)
Chris Hoy has now won his third gold at the Beijing Olympics by beating teammate Jason Kenny in the final of the men’s sprint. This is now the third gold medal that Team GB has won on Super Tuesday.

It was no surprise that Usain Bolt, the Jamaican sprinter won the 100 meter sprint taking gold as well as setting a new world record, and we have a video from the BBC showing us how easy he made it.

As I watched the second round of the Olympic 100 meters earlier today I noticed one thing, Jamaican sprinters Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell were just coasting to the finish line.
