On-demand TV for BBC

The BBC’s on-line service will launch later this year after they recieved the go ahead. Viewers will be able to watch programmes online for seven days and downloaded programmes will be available for thirty days.

Viewers will be able to watch programmes such as the popular TV soap Eastenders and Dr Who and older shows, which are stored in the BBC’s extensive archives.

Boss of GMTV apologises on air
