Since being given to Donald Trump, a $1,100 replica of Mount Rushmore with Donald Trump’s face was spotted for the first-time.
Former President Trump had been gifted the four-foot replica sculpture, which had been adapted to include his own likeness, by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem back in 2020.
The gift had been presented to Trump following his speech at the site on July 3, 2020, as part of the state’s Fourth of July celebrations.
And now, the sculpture has been photographed in-person for the first time, spotted sitting beneath a wooden table at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home.
Since being donated to Donald Trump in 2020, the replica Mount Rushmore statue costing $1,100 has now been seen in person.
A four-foot-long replica of Trump was seen sitting on the side table at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago house as Trump took a picture and received an honorary belt.
The former president was meeting with Lee Dong-seop, the president of Kukkiwon, also known as World Taekwondo Headquarters, when the sculpture was spotted.
Trump stood holding the Honorary 9th Dan Certificate he had been awarded as he smiled alongside Lee Dong-seop.
Trump is right. The Mount Rushmore sculpture can be seen underneath a wooden sidetable.
While reimaginations have previously been made of the sculpture’s appearance, it is now believed that this artwork will be seen for the first-time in flesh.
The Mini Mount Rushmore has the usual heads of George Washington Thomas Jefferson Theodore Roosevelt Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. Trump is visible off to his side.
Trump has the same features as other presidents: a tie, shirt collar, and jacket lapels.
It was mounted on an underside shelf of a wooden sidetable, on which were a MAGA cap as well as a selection of books.
The walls were covered with photos of Trump during his time as president, which included a historic meeting between him and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
Four days after Trump’s announcement of his 2020 speech, the New York Times reported the existence of this gift. However, until now, no photo has been taken of the sculpture that shows Trump’s face inscribed to Abraham Lincoln.
It is believed that Trump was gifted the privately funded sculpture by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem on July 3, 2020, after he gave a speech at the monument
Trump said in a tweet about a month after his speech that it ‘sounds like a good idea’ to put him on Mount Rushmore, after the Times claimed that a White House aide reached out to Noem to discuss the plan.
Although he has been promoting the idea for a while, he denied ever asking to be included in the monument. He said that it was an excellent idea considering his achievements.
Trump’s July address at Mount Rushmore in 2017 inspired him to tweet that it was a good idea to add his name to the Black Hills landmark.
‘This is Fake News by the failing @nytimes & bad ratings @cnn,’ he tweeted, in response to the article.
“Never recommended it, but based upon the numerous accomplishments made during the first three and a half years of this Presidency (perhaps more than any other Presidency), sounds like a good idea.

The request by the White House aide was made last year, a Republican official told The New York Times.
Asking about the request, the White House did not dispute that it occurred but replied that it was an federal and not state monument.
Trump first raised the prospect of having his face carved on the historic site soon after he took office, in January 2017.
Leuning, Treeby, Trump’s voters, made only three copies. One was given to Trump while the others were donated to unidentified donors.
Ian Fury (Noem’s communications manager), previously stated that the sculpture cost $1,100 and was not funded by taxpayer money. Instead, it was paid for with donations.
