Houston police officers reported the 18-wheeler stolen late Monday night by a trucking firm that noticed one of their vehicles missing.

A few hours later, officers were able track the stolen vehicle and located the suspect when they arrived at the scene.

Officers attempted to pull him over but he continued to drive.

The officer then caught him in a ditch and he leapt out of his vehicle between McKinley Street, Lincoln Drive, and McKinley Street.

However, the massive vehicle was still moving even though he jumped out, and crashed just moments later.

Conyers' brother Chris and another family member were inside the home at the time of the crash, but were found uninjured

Chris Conyers, Conyers’ brother, and another family member were in the home at the time. They were uninjured.

The scene was captured on video and shows the big rig smashing through the gate and striking the truck in front of the mobile home.

The truck crashed into the mobile home, and then continued to move as it left behind a fiery mess.

There were four people in the residence at that time, but Conyers and Heaney were the only ones affected.  Both of them were found under the vehicle.

Conyers’ brother Chris, and another unnamed member of his family were also present at the scene of the crash, but they did not sustain any injuries.

Chris Conyers stated that this was a surreal situation and that it is not supposed to happen.

“He has no house, money, or insurance. What are your options? You can think about the fact that your home is gone. Chris said that a GoFundMe account was set up to help his brother pay for hospital treatment and a home.

The suspect was believed to have a long criminal background and had been on parole at the time the crash occurred for evading with a motor vehicle.

The DA’s office filed a motion for no bond in the case of the suspect.

“When you talk about getting behind a wheel, for someone already convicted of running away from the police and then deciding that they would do it in an 18wheeler, and literally direct it as missile into that house. This is one of those that it going stay with you awhile,” Harris County DA Sean Teare stated.

“This is as brazenly and callous as any of the crashes that we deal with.”
