A teenaged gunman who allegedly murdered 10 people at a Buffalo supermarket planned the attack for months before he drove for three hours to carry out the vile ambush that was believed to be motivated by the white supremacist’s hated of black people.

Payton Gendron (18), Conklin NY, has pleaded not guilty for first-degree killing in the wake of Saturday’s attack. The 18-year-old Conklin resident, Payton Gendron, is currently being held indefinitely without bail. He could spend his entire life in prison. Gendron is expected to return to court on Thursday.

According to police, Gendron’s 180-page manifesto was rambling and contained a detailed plan for the attack. This included driving many counties far away in order to execute the Tops Friendly Market shooting.

Byron Brown, Buffalo mayor, said that the gunman traveled for hours to commit the crime on Buffalo residents. This was a day people are enjoying sunshine and family time, as well as friends and loved ones.

“People in supermarkets, with shopping carts and guns raining on them. It is like someone’s life was taken away in an instant.

Gendron declared himself a white supremacist and explained in his manifesto his concerns that other races are replacing white people, according to police.

Treyteen victims were injured in the shooting, and three suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities stated that 11 of the victims were African Americans and two were White.

Authorities said that four of those who were shot were employees at the store. Three other employees sustained ‘non fatal wounds’ while three others were wounded by a security guard.

Two victims were identified on Sunday: Aaron Salter, a former police officer who worked as a store security patrol guard and Ruth Whitfield, a shopper, an 86-year old grandmother. She is also Garnell Witfield’s mother.

Stephen Belongia (FBI special agent for the Buffalo field office) said that the FBI is currently investigating the shooting in two ways.

Flowers and candles lay outside the scene of a shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo on Sunday

On Sunday, flowers and candles were placed outside the scenes of an incident at Buffalo’s Supermarket.

On Sunday, the victims were honored at True Bethel Baptist Church of Buffalo.

Darius Pridgen was addressing the audience when someone came in and started a disturbance. Jon Harris of Buffalo News appeared to shout ‘put it down,’ tweeted. They rushed him to safety and told him, “Not today.” Pridgen stated, “Don’t harm him. Just get him the help that he requires.”

He wrote, “Before all that, Pridgen mentioned that Charles, a man who is currently singing at True Bethel today, had visited the hospital yesterday after his grandson, among others, was shot,” he tweeted.

Harris stated in another tweet that Pillen said he had been receiving calls from Piper claiming the brain of the 18-year old gunman wasn’t fully developed. Harris said that his brain is capable of writing an entire manifesto. He also noted that he was more concerned about the mental well-being of people who have lost loved ones yesterday.

Aaron Salter (pictured left), a retired Buffalo Police Department officer, was named the first victim. Gendron shot Salter while he was working in a shop security role. Salter then returned fire, killing him.

After Gendron made statements about shooting fellow students, officials at Susquehanna Val High School called in the New York State Police in June 2021.

One year later, he shot 13 people — 10 of whom were fatally — in an attack motivated by hatred towards blacks at Top Market’s Buffalo supermarket.

According to a source in government, a school official said that the troubled youth had indicated that he would like to shoot at graduation ceremonies or later.

Gendron was then referred to a psychiatrist and counselor after the investigation by police.

His classmates said that he was a strange person at times, and advocated extremist political views.

A former student said that Gendron was seen wearing a hazmat suit every day to school last week. Although she believed it was to protect him from the coronavirus and make jokes, she did not rule out that Gendron may have been making fun of her.

A classmate from high school said, “It was probably the best thing I saw him do,” but he did not want to be identified.

Gendron had other signs of a fragile mental condition.

Gendron picked an autocratic government that a classmate described as Hitler-esque during a class exercise on political class.

“His views were extreme,” the student replied. “You can choose any kind of government you want, and he selected a totalitarian.”

He almost hit her in the head with his car. But, she was able to ignore it and continue on with her careless driving.

She said that he was extremely into shooting games and video games.

She said, “It is so amazing to think that this could have been us,” “I’m sure he has his manifesto. But what if it was him trying to test us?”

He was mostly quiet. However, he did’smile strangely’ to talk to strangers. He didn’t have a girlfriend, she said.

Gendron was one of the four sons of Paul Gendron and Pamela Gendron. They are two state civil engineers who reside in Conklin (NY), three hours south of Buffalo. Paul was a coach for his children in their local soccer league. At least one neighbor thought he was strange. Locals claimed that his mother seemed conceited.

A classmate told me that he was from this “pristine” family. They had everything they needed, and were perfect.

Payton Gendron looks like he towers over his father, and other family members in Facebook photos.

“He was six feet one or six inches two,” his classmate told him. He was big.

It appears that the family was a close-knit suburban group who played LaserTag, Autumn Festivals, and the beach together. They also dined in local restaurants together.

Neighbors thought they were strange.

Retired Buffalo Police Department cop Aaron Salter, pictured right, was named as the first victim of the tragedy. He was working as a store security guard and shot Gendron, who returned fire and killed Salter

“To be truthful, the mother was kinda snooty,” a parent from nearby said. “Like she thought she was more important than anyone else. He seemed strange. It was like meeting someone new and instantly likable.

He was recalled by a neighbor as having brought home a Brontosaurus of human size that he built to help with a school project. His school records indicate that he was an excellent student who scored higher than 92 per cent in every class.

Gendron was spotted on Facebook taking a number of college tours. He also spent time at Broome County Community College. According to a college spokesperson, Gendron was not enrolled anymore.

Nancy Santucci, a neighbor said that they have a very nice family. They seem normal people. “I would never have thought that anyone would ever drive from their neighborhood to Buffalo to commit a racially motivated crime.”

She said, “I am just stunned.”

Buffalo police department responded to the scene of a mass shooting that left 10 people dead and three wounded

The Buffalo Police Department responded quickly to a shooting incident that saw 10 victims and 3 others injured.

A 180-page manifesto was posted online by the young man before the shooting. It proclaimed the paranoid views of white supremacy that whites are being replaced in America by people of colour.

The screed claims that he was radicalized by 4Chan (the same chat group that created Qanon). He claimed that Jewish conspiracies to destroy white people are behind critical race theory. This he says is why he wants to kill Jews.

He refers also to mass shootings that were carried out in furtherance of racist ideologies, such as Dylan Roof who shot nine people at a South Carolina black church and Brenton Tarrant from New Zealand, who shot 51 in a mosque.

Gendron was also an advocate of the ‘great substitute theory,’ which asserts that Democrats intentionally import illegal migrants to the US in order to win electoral dominance and drive whites to extinction.

Gendron, who was naked, covered in paper, and masked, stated to the judge Saturday night that he had understood what the charges were and that he was innocent at Saturday’s arraignment.

Only one charge of first-degree killing has been filed against him. John Flynn the Erie County District attorney stated that the judge ordered a thorough forensic examination of him and ordered him to be held without bail.

He stated that he had taken all the steps necessary to place him behind bars. That was justice. It was imperative that the first murder case be filed as soon as possible.

According to the DA they work with federal authorities for further terrorist, hate crime, and murder cases.

Gendron’s lawyer said that he intended to plead guilty but did not make any other comments. Conklin’s picture has been posted to social media.

Gendron had earlier been captured by police as he emerged from Tops Friendly Supermarket at 1275 Jefferson Avenue around 2.30pm. He was accused of shooting 13 people and 10 others, with Gendron being the only fatality.

Since then, survivors have told how they ran to the freezer of the supermarket in fear. Shonnell Harris, operations manager, told how Shonnell fled the shop in terror to safety only to be confronted by Gendron who shot down one of her victims.

According to police, 11 shots were taken by black people, while the remaining two were white. They suggested that Gendron had been walking through the supermarket in search of specific targets, but didn’t specify if this was because of the colour of their skin.

Aaron Salter Jr. is the first victim in the attack. He was a Buffalo Police Officer. After exchanging gunfire in the market with Gendron, Salter is now being called a hero.

Gendron apparently wrote down the n word on his gun before setting off Saturday’s attack at Tops Friendly Supermarket, Buffalo.

Kathy Hochul, New York Governor, blasted Gendron for his ‘demented killings’ and demanded a crackdown against social media companies. She claimed that they acted as an “accomplice” by allowing mass-shooters such Gendron to glorify their crimes.

Joe Biden, President of the United States expressed condolences for the victims’ families and condemned white supremacy.

Biden expressed his sorrow for the victims’ families, ten of whom were killed senselessly, and the entire community that is still suffering from the effects of this shooting. “A hate crime motivated by racism is an abomination to our nation’s fabric. Any domestic terrorist act, even one committed under the cover of an anti-white nationalist ideology is antithetical of everything that America stands for. Hate has no place of refuge. It is our duty to do all we can to stop hate-fueled domestic terrorist acts.

John Garcia, Sheriff of Erie County, stated that this was pure evil and a hate crime motivated by racism.

Byron Brown, Buffalo mayor, stated that this was the most terrible nightmare any community could face. He also said, “We are suffering and we feel seething.” “The pain and suffering that many families feel, as well as the feelings that we all are experiencing right now, cannot be described.

He drove for hours from Conklin (a white suburb just outside of Binghamton) to get to the site of the attack.

Gramaglia stated that Buffalo police entered the store to confront the gunman.

“At this point, the suspect took the gun and put it to his throat. Buffalo police officers and two patrol officers talked to the suspect about dropping the gun. The suspect dropped the gun and took out some tactical gear. He then surrendered. The officer led him outside to get in a vehicle.

DailyMail.com captured the video of police arresting the suspect. They are trying to remove people from the scene while several bodies lay motionless on the floor.

The onlooker comments, as he examines one of the bodies.

The police then tell the witnesses to move back as the officers take over the situation.

Erica PughMathews, a victim of the attack on the shop’s storefront, waited hours outside the police tape to see what had happened to her relatives.

“We’d like to find out the status of my aunt, who is my mother’s younger sister.” She said that she was there along with her fiancé. They separated and moved to separate aisles. The bullet missed him just barely. While he could hide in a freezer, he couldn’t get to his aunt. If she is OK, we would just like to know.

Under anonymity, officials cautioned that the investigation is still in the preliminary stages. Authorities hadn’t identified a motive yet but are investigating racial animus as a possible cause.

According to Stephen Blodgett, Special Agent in Charge at the Buffalo field office, the FBI will investigate the incident as hate crime and a case of racially motivated violence extremism. This case will be investigated by the U.S. attorney for the Western District of New York.
