Tonight, the Queen walked up to her chair at the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, where an all star lineup included Dame Helen Mirren and Tom Cruise, as well as musical talents from around the globe.

Her Majesty, aged 96, received a standing ovation from Windsor Castle. She was also all smiles after she took her seat using a walking stick, which helped to ease her fears about her mobility.

The Queen was greeted with continued applause when she made her way into the royal box. Simon BrooksWard (45), a Territorial Army Officer and friend, was also there.

A grey cardigan was worn by the monarch, along with an embellished, blue, grey dress. Pearl earrings were added, as well as a matching necklace and black loafers.

Her son, the Earl of Wessex was with her for this show which reflected her passion for horses. For the Queen’s entrance, a tri-service honor guard was set up that included the Coldstream Guards and the Royal Navy. The National Anthem was played by military musicians.

Phillip Schofield and Julie Etchingham are hosting the much-anticipated open-air show staged close to Windsor Castle – the same location as Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee, Diamond Jubilee and 90th birthday.

During the televised event, Prince Charles said about his mother, The Queen: ‘[She has always] Coped with so many different challenges and always being there in a remarkable way.’

The event, which will feature 1,300 performers and 500 horses, will look back through history from the reign of Queen Elizabeth I to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Dame Helen Mirren, 76, and Tom Cruise, 59, are leading the theatrical production, which will be broadcast outside live this evening despite the rainy weather.

Hollywood A-lister Cruise, who appeared to be mobbed by fans as he arrived for the production, said it is ‘a real honour and privilege’ to be a part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Windsor.

He said: ‘What she has accomplished is historic. She has met presidents, world leaders, people from all walks of life. Not just Americans, but the world knows the dignity, devotion and kindness, that is what I have always felt about her. Someone that understands her position and has held it through a history that’s just been extraordinary the past 70 years.’

While the Queen enjoyed Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force’s steel drum show of Abba’s classic Dancing Queen, she was also seen taking in Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force’s steeldrum display during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

They were dressed in green suits and had on-the-spot disco costumes. The Queen was wrapped in blue blankets with a blanket, so the rhythmic rendition of the song seemed to be a delight.

After a battle between the Top Secret Drum Corps and Royal Marines at the monarch’s 90th birthday celebrations (which is now in its 70th year), the monarch clapped loudly.

It featured juggling, twirling and spinning of drum sticks that were later set ablaze.

Tom Cruise announced what he called ‘one the most thrilling, thrilling and heart-inducing displays’ when he introduced a performance of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.

As part of the Sunday night’s performance Omid Djalili (comedian) will portray a character named The Herald.

Because of the amount of respect people have for Queen Elizabeth II, he said that he believes the event will inspire pride among all royalists and republicans.

He added: “I think any person watching this program, no matter if they are a staunch republican and/or a royalists, will feel pride to be British.

“And there is no doubt, you know. After seeing The Crown you feel an affection for the woman who took the throne, and said that she would serve her people and her country however long she lives. Even when others have been bad to her she was steadfast in her promises and has kept them true.

“So, from a human perspective, you must respect that – she has done all that she stated in the past 70 years.”

This comes just days after Queen Elizabeth was photographed at her first public appearance in public since Friday’s State Opening of Parliament.

Her Majesty’s mobility continues to be a problem, but she was able to get back up and about as soon as possible when she went to the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

While wearing pink lipstick, sunglasses, and casually dressed in a dark blouse and cardigan, the monarch was in great spirits while watching her horse Balmoral Leia compete. This show marks her official Platinum Jubilee festivities.

Her Majesty received cheers and claps as she arrived at the festival in her Range Rover. After settling down, she chatted with fellow festival-goers and reminisced about the wonderful experience.

The Royal Windsor Horse Show crowd was equally delighted to have her there, as did Prince Philip’s wife of 73 year, who passed away last April at 99.

Due to her inability to stand or walk for extended periods of time, Her Majesty decided to remain in the Range Rover’s passenger seat. She spoke with passersby, and also watched the horses perform in the parade ring.

And after an hour or so, with the aid of a stick, she walked slowly around 30ft to her seat in the grandstand between her son Prince Edward and Penny Knatchbull, Countess Mountbatten of Burma. She looked happy as punch that she was there.

Edward’s wife Sophie was there too, as Countess de Wessex. Sophie won the first place with her highland pony and received a trophy. Her Majesty watched proudly as Lady Louise Windsor drove the Duke of Edinburgh’s carriage in the Fell Pony Society Centenary Parade.

Soon after, the Queen marched unaided back to Windsor Castle with her Range Rover. She waved at cheering crowds and waved goodbye.

For the 70th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s reign, there are huge celebrations taking place all over the country. Pictured. Pictured.

In March, when the Queen was in attendance at a memorial service for her late husband, The Duke of Edinburgh in front of senior royals as well as hundreds of people, she was the last time that the monarch saw the public,

After a positive test in February, she was able to overcome a bout with Covid and turned her life around. In April, she celebrated her 96th birth privately at Sandringham.

She spent the night in hospital last October and was then ordered by doctors to perform light tasks for three months. This meant that she missed many important events.

Since attending a commemorative service last October to mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion she has been walking with a stick since then.

This happened as the Queen abruptly pulled out of this week’s State Opening of Parliament due to her growing mobility problems. Prince Charles, along with Prince William, read the speech, which was her first public reading.

The Queen’s Jubilee festivities will not feature Beatrice and Edo as well as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooskbank (32 and 32).

A balcony appearance is often seen at the centerpiece of major royal occasions such as Trooping to the Colour and weddings. This is where the Queen’s extended families gather for a flypast. Fans rarely get to see their entire extended family.

Following his ejection from public life, after settling a civil court case in America over allegations of sexual abuse against Virginia Giuffre (which he vehemently denies), it was inconceivable that Beatrice and Eugenie’s father Prince Andrew would be given a spot.

The monarch was last seen in public when she attended a service commemorating the life of her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, in March with senior royals and a congregation of hundreds

Although earlier reports claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were offered a place on the platform by the Queen, both have since been removed from the list. However, the couple quickly confirmed today that they would be attending the London celebrations along with their children.

The Queen was forced to remove a few well-liked members of her family, such as her grandchildren and their families, when she reduced the list to 16. This is to avoid any diplomatic pitfalls.

She is also missing her cousins Prince Michael of Kent and their families, which the Queen has an excellent relationship with, as well as the 34 other royals who are absent from the balcony.

Last balcony lineup includes the Prince of Wales (and The Duchess) of Cornwall; Prince and Duchess and Duke of Cambridge, their children; Earl and Countesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssse of Cambridge, their children; Princess Royale and Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence and the Duke and Dukesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss; of Kent and Princess Alexandra

The Queen’s other adult grandchildren, Peter Philips and Zara Tindall have been excluded with their families, even though their mother Princess Anne and stepfather Sir Timothy Laurence will join the Queen.

Buckingham Palace issued a formal statement confirming the decision.

However, there are some exceptions. The list includes Prince Anne’s husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence (who isn’t a working royal), and Lady Louise, James, Viscount Severn’s great-grandchildren George and Charlotte.

According to a Palace spokesperson, “The Cambridge and Wessex kids are also expected to make an appearance as is Sir Tim Laurence. This is someone the Queen would be happy to support on official engagements as both a frequent visitor and supporter for Princess Royal.”

This announcement comes after reports that Her Majesty may not be able to appear on the balcony due to her limited mobility at 96 years old.

According to an insider, aides may be working on a plan B. He said: “It might still happen, but it’s not guaranteed that the Queen will be on the balcony during Jubilee.”

Although recent balcon appearances were more focused on the senior staff members, it is not unusual for family members to be present at Trooping the Colour on the Queen’s official birthday.
