Adele stunned her fans when she shared in tears that she had to cancel her Las Vegas residency, which was hugely successful. This happened just 24 hours before Adele was due to perform at Caesar’s Palace.
The 33-year old superstar singer wept as she explained that her COVID-19-related cases had prevented the show from being brought to life on time.
Delivery delays made it impossible to complete the show, adding to her troubles.
Additionally, she said that while she’d been up for over 30 hours trying to figure out logistical issues, it was Friday and that she’d ‘run out time’.

Adele said she was “gutted” not being able to perform on Friday and that the delay was making her feel ’embarrassed.
‘I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,’ she confessed
‘We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. The majority of my crew members and colleagues are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show.’
‘I’m gutted — I’m sorry it’s so last minute, we’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time,’ she continued, as her voice started to break. ‘I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that traveled to get [to the show]. I’m really, really sorry.’

Can I Get It star pledged that he would reschedule the cancelled shows.
She added: ‘We’re going to reschedule all of the dates, we’re on it right now, and I’m gonna finish my show and get it to where it’s supposed to be. It’s not possible, and I am so sorry. We’ve been up against so much and it just ain’t ready. I’m really sorry.’
In November, the Weekends With Adele residency was revealed.
Two shows were scheduled for the Easy On Me star until April 16th 2022. This would make 12 weeks of performances.
The new date of the concert series’ start is unknown.

Adele’s residency was already in trouble after some of her loyal fans protested the sky-high prices for tickets.
Tickets went on sale on December 8 via Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program, with the cheapest seats in the back going for $85 before fees, while premium seats closest to the stage sold for about $680.
The shows were sold out in minutes. Resale market sellers started charging outrageous prices for tickets, driving the ticket prices up from $1,000 to nearly $37,000.

Exorbitant prices: Adele’s residency was a disaster. In December, tickets were sold out in a matter of minutes. Scalpers then raised prices on the secondary market to $1K and $37K.
