A person has been rushed to hospital after a ‘severe’ medical emergency on a theme park rollercoaster in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales, this afternoon.

Folks had been requested to evacuate the Oakwood Theme Park following the incident, WalesOnline stories.

The Welsh Ambulance Service had been referred to as to the scene round 1pm and an air ambulance additionally attended the park.

One lady, who spoke to BBC Wales, described the incident as ‘severe’.

She instructed the broadcaster that it had occurred on the park’s Treetops journey, which her household had been on, which has not been confirmed by the park.

The Well being and Security Government confirmed it had been knowledgeable of the incident and stated it was making inquiries with Dyfed Powys Police.

Oakwood Theme Park has been contacted for remark.
