Strictly star AJ Odudu was spotted on Thursday leaving her London hotel to head to physio on crutches, two days before the Strictly Come Dancing final.
The TV presenter, 33, who’s partnered with rumoured boyfriend Kai Widdrington, 26, suffered ligament damage to her foot, leaving her unable to stand.
Although the star can’t put weight on her feet, she hopes to still compete in final.

Ouch! Ouch!
AJ was reported to have been treated for the injury on Wednesday. She looked in pain while she walked on crutches.
This beauty kept herself warm wearing a large faux fur green coat that she paired with an orange and black stripe jumper.
The laidback outfit was completed with black jeans, which she accessorized by a gold necklace with hoop earrings.

It’s sad news. The 33-year-old TV presenter was injured in her right foot by ligaments.

Still hopeful

It was awful: AJ, who appears to have been treated for her injury on Wednesday, looked miserable as she hopped on crutches.
In order to comply with English regulations, she was wearing a Covid-19-face mask. One trainer was worn while her injured leg was elevated off the ground.
AJ cried on Wednesday while looking back at the Strictly Experience so far. She was unable confirm if she will be performing in Saturday’s Grand Final alongside Rose Ayling Ellis (27), and John Whaite (32).

To keep up with English regulations, the Covid-19-face mask was on her. She also wore one trainer as her injured foot was lifted off the ground.
AJ explained that he had hurt his arch ligament and couldn’t lift any weight onto his foot.
We have been missing a lot because I cannot stand.
“It is just frustrating because we keep repeating the same two dances from the series that we haven’t done in weeks or weeks. Without giving away too much, they are energetic dances.
“On Monday, our optimism was evident because we asked each other, “Do you know how the steps look?” Kai said that while the show dance is beautiful and difficult and something that Kai has mastered over the years, it requires practice to make it perfect.
“I’m very upset and frustrated at the moment.”

Devastated: She detailed the injury in a social media post on Wednesday evening

Gutted: Speaking on Wednesday, AJ sobbed as she looked back at her Strictly experience so far, without being able to confirm if she will perform in Saturday night’s grand final
AJ shared a photo of her injured leg as she prepared to appear on Strictly’s spin-off It Takes Two.
“I have a repetitive traumatic injury to my right foot. It has affected the ligaments, joint capsule and ligaments.” Although I cannot pinpoint the exact moment, it happened in training. However, it started suddenly Monday night.
“The pain was so severe that I felt like I would vomit. I cannot even put weight on my right leg without experiencing agonising pain.

It was painful: AJ stumbled on crutches on Wednesday night as she reached the It Takes Two studio along with Kai Widdrington, her dance partner.
“Because I can’t move with crutches, it’s impossible for us to properly practice before the live final. It would be an understatement to say that I am devastated.
That being said, although it hasn’t been the week that I planned, I try to keep my head up and stay hopeful. A wonderful medical team are working hard to get me on my feet. I also have the best partner, who literally is my support system.
“Thanks for your kind words. It will all be fine on the evening, I hope.

AJ: “Magical moments”: AJ stated throughout Strictly that she loves the show, and that it was a great dream to compete in the series with Kai as her partner.
Three dance performances will be given by the Strictly finalist on Saturday’s live performance. They include one judge’s selection, one couple’s favorite number, and one that is their show-stopper.
Professional dancer Kai confirmed on Wednesday that the pair have only rehearsed their show dance once – and now they’re unable to practice until AJ’s foot is better.
“We practiced our show dance Monday.” We did our show dance, we got through it, obviously we still need to patch it up and connect everything there are a lot of lifts in there but the other dances we are going to do – we put the music on, and AJ knows them.’
AJ said throughout Strictly that she is a big fan of the series and that competing was a dream come real, with Kai as her partner in dance.

AJ and Kai have made their dreams come true: Rumours that AJ is in a relationship with Kai have been circulating since the beginning of the competition. Kai has not done much to deny the rumours.
