Alabama TikTok user TikTok is asking for your help to find the murderer of her son, who was just 19 days old when he died.

Ophelia Nicks is a seven-million follower who posted a video where she asked desperately for help in finding Randon Lee’s killer.

The word is spreading fast and I have to spread the news. It is a video I made for a specific reason. Nichols made a heartfelt plea for help.

‘Today would have been my baby child’s 19th birthday. My son was killed. He was shot and I have this hatred in my heart that I don’t recognize, because I’ve never felt hate for anybody,’ she continued.

‘This individual took my son’s life and I know they’re out there in my town. They’re out there living and breathing and my son’s dead. At 18 years of age, he was a young man. It’s one of the most important parts of someone’s lives, and I’m sure they are out there in my community. She said, “They’re out there.”

I want you to see my son. Here is my son. Nichols cried sobbing as she said that you had taken him from my son.

‘Somebody know who did this to my child and I am asking for somebody’s help. Anybody’s help,’ she said before the video cut off.

It was quite a departure from her usual content on Facebook, where she posts joyful and happy videos with southern charm. 

These posts cover a wide range of topics, from sharing family traditions to learning a new recipe and beauty tips.  

Nichols claimed that her son was killed at Exxon’s gas station on Friday morning at 7:45 AM. He then drove to a second station, Energizer, in the town of Prichard, Alabama, near Mobile, where he was found to have died from his injuries. 

The heartbreaking appeal has been viewed almost 19,000,000 times in one day. Some locals have also written in to offer their help and support.

‘People talk. People communicate, therefore I requested that the video be made so that my son and his family could see how he treated us. My son was taken from me by him. My son,’ Nichols said. 

She was going to celebrate her 19th birthday Saturday.

“Just heard that we have leads on two people. I hope they see this video & know what they have done to my family,’ she wrote in an update in the comments on her tear-jerking video.

Ophelia told local station NBC12 that she was finding it hard to do nothing and hopes that police track down those responsible.

You have to wait, hope and pray for them to do right by my baby and get the culprits behind bars. “You have no choice but wait,” she stated.

“I called him around 10 o’clock yesterday to let him know that I had some money for his birthday. It was something he looked forward to. It was just him and his girlfriend. She added that his family was the most important thing in his life. 

It was a comforting thought to know that her son, who was an organ donor, will continue living with the rest of his organs. 

Ophelia was shocked quickly and then she felt grief and finally anger.

“I feel a hatred that I do not recognize.” She said that she has never felt hatred for anyone.

At the moment, no arrests were made and an investigation continues. It is not clear what the motive for this crime was.
