Just two days following the issuance of a search warrant for Baldwin’s mobile phone, police pulled Baldwin and Hilaria under arrest in Hamptons.

The actor, who is currently in Hamptons with his loved ones, has been there since Friday as part of an investigation into Halyna HUTCHINS, his cinematographer on set for Rust, his western movie.

Baldwin, 63, was seen waiting inside their car while Hilaria, 37, spoke with an East Hamptons Police officer on the side of the road before pulling out her mobile and displaying the screen.

The couple had pulled over briefly to stock up on refreshments, with Alec seen clad in a plaid jacket and face mask as he picked up coffee and snacks.

The reason why the Baldwins were stopped is still not clear. MailOnline reached Hilaria, Alec, and East Hamptons Police representatives to get their comments.

This happened after New Mexico’s Sante Fe sheriffs had issued a search warrant on his iPhone for information about the October 21 fatal shooting.

As part of their investigation, the warrant allows police to access all texts and photos from the victim’s cell phone, along with any location data.

Baldwin was captured on his cell phone calling shortly after the shooting. Judge David Segura in Santa Fe approved the request for a search warrant on Thursday afternoon.

Detective Alexandria Hancock — referred to as the ‘affiant’ in the warrant — said that they requested Baldwin hand over his phone, but the actor and his lawyers said that they require a warrant first.

“Affiant demanded Alec’s cell phone as well as his lawyer and was directed to get a warrant,” the warrant request stated.

Hancock, in the request for the warrant, spelled out in detail what she wanted to obtain from Baldwin’s phone — a list that included his contacts, call records, photos, videos, and text messages.

According to the warrant request, ‘Affiant requests a warrant to seize and search Alec Baldwin’s cell phone in order to search for evidence related to Halyna’s death investigation’.

According to ‘Affiant, evidence may exist on the phone due to people using cell phones before and/or during the commission of crime. This information may prove to be important and pertinent to this investigation, if available.

Affiant was also informed that there had been several texts and emails sent concerning the film production of Rust.

According to the search warrant Baldwin said that he had exchanged emails about which gun style to use for the movie with Hannah Gutierrez Reed.

Finally, they settled on the Colt.45 pistol.

Low profile: Baldwin has been keeping to himself in the wake of the fatal shooting of cinematographer Hutchins

Recently, the father of Rust cinematographer Hutchins slammed Baldwin for accidentally shooting his daughter dead, saying the star was at least ‘partially responsible’ for the killing.

Anatoly Androsovych stated that Baldwin clearly fired the shot with his hand. This makes it difficult for him to be held partially responsible for my daughter’s death. “I cannot understand Alec’s behaviour.”

Baldwin claims that Hutchins’ gun didn’t go off because he pulled the trigger.

Androsovych stated that the revolver was a gun that doesn’t fire before it is pulled. Alec is partly responsible for the shot.

Baldwin had deleted several tweets in the wake of the tragedy, which he was questioned about.

“Why did he delete his twitters after it was clear that the filming was in rehearsal?” He said. “And why did the shot go off during the preparations?” he asked.

Androsovych, a Ukrainian who served as a submarine captain, also shared that he is worried his 9-year-old grandson, Anrdos, may not ‘ever fully recover’ from the incident.

He said that although Andros was slowly coming back to life, it is a huge loss for us all.

Androsovych made these comments just days after Baldwin claimed that he had requested a larger Colt before fatally shooting Hutchins in the set of Rust.

Baldwin shared a Tweet Thursday that denied these allegations and linked to a Newsweek article that claimed he requested a larger gun prior to the accident shooting.

Baldwin said, “This is in fact a lie,” and he wrote it over the link.

The choices I made regarding the props used in RUST were made before film production even began. To claim that there were any modifications made before the fatal shooting is false, he said.

Santa Fe sheriffs request a search warrant which allows police to inspect all texts messages and photos as well any location data stored on the iPhone of the suspect as part their investigation.

The actor had been handed the antique Colt .45 pistol for the scene, and was told that it was ‘cold’ – not loaded.

Seen on the day: Baldwin is seen on October 21, after speaking to investigators about the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin's phone is now being sought by the team probing Hutchins's death

He was practicing a scene where he draws out his gun. In an interview on ABC December 2, he stated that although he had never pulled the trigger, the gun fired anyway.

Hutchins was a 42 year-old cinematographer. He was then shot and killed. Joel Souza was the director of the movie and was fatally shot in his shoulder. He survived.

It’s not known why New Mexico police took so long to seize Baldwin’s mobile phone.

Actor has insistently stated that he cooperated fully with the investigation. No arrests were made.

Speaking out: Baldwin spoke to George Stephanopoulos for an interview which aired on Dec. 2. During the interview hed denied that he requested a larger Colt gun before he fatally shot Hutchins on set

Baldwin spoke out to George Stephanopoulos during an interview, which aired December 2. He denied that he had requested a bigger Colt gun prior to shooting Hutchins.

Baldwin gave an emotional interview on December 2, to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. He said that he didn’t pull the trigger and did not feel guilty because he felt he was innocent.

I let go of my hammer and bang. The gun explodes. All are shocked. They’re shocked. It was loud,” he stated.

Baldwin spoke of the devastation caused by Hutchins’s loss and paid tributes and praises to Hutchins for being a remarkable cinematographer as well as an exceptional person.

Stephanopoulos told him he hadn’t known she had died until hours later. Stephanopoulos captured his police interview in Santa Fe.

He stated that people in the know have told him that it was ‘highly unlikely” that he would face criminal prosecution.

Baldwin stated to Stephanopoulos that someone was responsible for the events.

Heartbreaking: Hutchins was shot just moments after the crew entered a church set to rehearse a scene (above)

It was heartbreaking to see Hutchins shot moments after crew members entered the church where they were rehearsing a scene.

Honest to God: If I had believed that I was responsible for the death, I would have probably committed suicide. That’s something I won’t mince.

The former President Donald Trump was also criticized by him for suggesting that Trump had ‘loaded’ the gun.

“He claimed that I deliberately did it. You think it can get more absurd, but here is the President of the United States commenting on the tragic circumstances.

Baldwin uploaded a photograph to Instagram showing him holding one of six of his children.

“No matter what happens to you. No matter how much I hurt. Any situation, winning or losing. Anything. He wrote, “No one can take from me the joy, love, and support you’ve given me @hilariabaldwin.”

These are difficult times. The air is suffocating with hate. You have given me reason to live. All I am concerned about is our life together. There is nothing else. You owe it to me.

Baldwin’s take on the tragedy of being on-set

“I’m only showing. Then I ask, “How does that work?” That works? Do you see it? Are you able to see it?

“And then, she says, “Yeah! That’s great!”

“I let go the hammer. Bang. The gun explodes. All are shocked. They’re shocked. It’s loud. It’s loud.

“No one was; the gun was supposed not to have any contents.” The gun was given to me empty.

“If they were cosmetic rounds with no charge, nothing at all, flash rounds, nothing.

“She falls, she thought, to me, “Did she faint?”

“I didn’t realise there was an actual live round in the gun until about 45 to one hour later.”

He said, “Well, she is lying there, and I say, “Did she get hit with wadding?” Did she leave a blank?”

“I never pulled that trigger.” No, no, no. That would be impossible.

It was empty. The gun was supposed to be empty.

‘Nobody gave a f*** who you are any more until this. “You see a lot more people now with phones, in a cafe,” he stated, showing them how they were filming him.

Baldwin described the events that followed the September 21st accident in great detail. Baldwin was filming in a church when the gun arrived.

She’s trying to tell me how to position it. All is under her control. To her mark, I draw the gun. I am not shooting towards the camera lens. I am shooting off. In her direction. She directed the shot.

Baldwin claims he fired the gun. He was also discussing with Hutchins what it would look like on film.

“I’m only showing. Then I ask, “How about that? That works? Do you see it? Are you able to see it?  Then she says “Yeah that’s nice.”

“I let go the hammer. Bang. The gun explodes. All are shocked. They’re shocked. It’s loud. It’s loud.

“No one was there, the gun was empty.” The gun was empty. They were not cosmetic rounds. A flash round was all that I got.

I was stunned to see her go down. It wasn’t until 45 minutes or an hour later that I realized that the live round was in that gun.

He said, “Well, she is laying there, and I go,” Did she get hit with wadding? Is there a blank? Some blank rounds contain a wadding in the packs. It’s almost like a cloth which packs the gunpowder inside. Wadding can sometimes come out and hit you. It could make your skin itch a bit.

“But no one could comprehend. Is it possible she had a heart attack. You see, it was just a fantasy that somebody put a live gun in her hand.

“I never pulled that trigger.” No, no, no. That would be a terrible thing.

Dave Halls was the assistant director and was looking at Baldwin. He confirmed Baldwin’s story through his lawyer.

After he said that he was standing over her for “about 60 seconds”, a spokesman then told me to get out. Is she still conscious? Stephanopoulos asked. Baldwin responded, “My recollection of it is yes,”

After a cop showed him a photograph of the shrapnel taken from Souza’s arms, he said that ‘nobody knew’ about it.

After that, he said, ‘The agony and insanity caused by someone putting a live bullet into the gun began. “She was lying there and for quite some time, I was shocked at the length of time they took to not get her in a car, or out. They waited until they could get a helicopter,’ he stated.

“And when the helicopter flew with her, we were all literally starving to this outside process.”

“When she left, I didn’t know how many days she had been there. You can’t disbelieve that there is a live round in a gun. But she said, “She’s stable.”

“At the conclusion of my interview, the sheriff’s office told me that she had not made it. They told me immediately.

He continued, “That’s when i went outside to call my wife.”
