Alec Baldwin was overcome with emotion as he shared his story about Halyna’s death in a TV interview.

Baldwin (63), produced and starred in Rust and had high praises for Hutchins who he shot on October 21.

“Halyna, and I shared something deep in common. We both assumed the gun was empty,” he said to ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos.

Baldwin stated that he didn’t know about Hutchins until Joel Souza, the film’s director introduced him to his work.

Baldwin stated, “I didn’t know anything about her until Joel told me that he had ‘I got’ her.”

“She was incredible.”

Baldwin composed the document and shared his concerns regarding the budget and union grievances.

He then began to talk about the movie again.

Because it meant he would be away from Hilaria and the six kids, he said that he didn’t make films anymore. He loved Rust’s script and was eager to film in New Mexico.

He stated, “This film made me love movies again.” He said, “I believed we were on to something.”

Baldwin talked about what happened before the shooting.

He said, “It was just a rehearsal.”

She’s trying to tell me how to position it. All is under her control. She marks the marker and I draw it.

I don’t shoot to the lens of my camera, instead I am shooting off. In her direction.

“This was an incidental shot that might not have made it into the movie.

'What the f**k just happened?' Baldwin reportedly asked cast and crew members after the shot went off, and Hutchins suddenly stumbled back into head electrician Serge Svetnoy's arms

‘What the f**k just happened?’ Baldwin asked crew and cast members questions after the shot was fired. Hutchins then suddenly returned to Serge Svetnoy’s arms.

Baldwin said hecocked his gun.

I say, “Can you see this?” After that, I release the hammer. The gun explodes.

“I never pulled that trigger. No, no, no. It would not be possible.

Dave Halls who was an assistant director, saw Baldwin and confirmed his account through his lawyer.

Baldwin said, “I let the hammer go and the gun goes off.”

The gun should have been empty. She goes down. She falls.

“The idea that the live round was in the gun didn’t dawn on me until about 45 minutes later. What was the wadding there, I wondered?

“Did she experience a heart attack?” It was a completely absurd idea to think that any person could possess a firearm.

He stated that he was there for her for “about 60 seconds” and then was ushered away.

Stephanopoulous inquired if she was aware.

Baldwin stated, “My recollection tells me yes.”

He claimed that “nobody had any idea” until a cop showed him a photograph of the ammunition taken from Souza’s arms.

Then began the ‘anguish, insanity that somebody put a bullet into the gun.

Stephanopoulos questioned about Baldwin holding his head in both his hands.

The live round that Alec Baldwin fired and accidentally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust may have been a homemade bullet, according to court documents

Court documents suggest that the bullet Alec Baldwin used to accidentally kill Halyna Hutchins, a cinematographer on Rust’s set, may have been an accidental shot.

“She lay down and she was there for quite a while. I was surprised at the time they took to either get her in a car, or take her out. However, they kept waiting until a helicopter arrived,” he stated.

“And we were literally all starved by the time she took off with her.”

‘When she finally left me, I do not know how much time she was there. You can’t disbelieve that there is a live round in a gun. But she said, “She’s stable.”

“At the conclusion of my interview, the sheriff’s office told me that she had not made it. They told me immediately.

He said, “That was when I got outside and called my wife.”

Baldwin was then married to Hutchins.

“He hugged and said to me: “I suppose we’re going through this together.”

Hutchins was his husband and son, he said.

Baldwin stated, “This boy doesn’t have a mom anymore.”

“And we cannot bring her back.

“I said, I don’t have any ideas.”

Baldwin stated earlier that he was focusing his thoughts from the beginning on the Souza family, and Hutchins, who were also killed in the tragedy.

He said, “I don’t want to come across as someone who is a victim because there are two of them here,”

Court documents suggest that the gunshot which killed him may have been a homemade shotgun that an New Mexico armorer had purchased from a movie where it was possible to use makeshift ammunition to train actors on a shooting range.

An affidavit from the Sante Fe County Sheriff’s Office states that detectives are investigating the possibility that Seth Kenney, an old Hollywood vet who was supposed provide the film’s dummy rounds, blanks and ammunition, might have used recycled bullets from another set.

Hutchins’s death is being investigated by the police, who have not yet filed any criminal charges.
