Baldwin (63) was listed as one of almost two dozen defendants in the lawsuit stemming out of the shooting death Rust cinematographer Halyna Utchins.
Gloria Allred (Mitchell’s top-ranking attorney) accused Baldwin, during an emotional press conference, of playing Russian Roulette when he fired his gun without making sure that it was empty. She also stated that the camera scene did not require the firing.
The actor looked somber in photos taken from outside of Greenwich Village’s building where he lives with Hilaria, his wife and large children.
Baldwin dressed casually in dark colors despite November’s cold and had his silver hair neatly coifed. He climbed in to a black Cadillac in order to drop his kids off at school in Brooklyn.

Mitchell, the first person to call 911 after Hutchins was accidentally shot by Baldwin on the film’s set last month, broke down in tears on Tuesday as she announced the filing of her lawsuit against Baldwin and other producers of the low-budget Western movie.
The suit names 22 defendants associated with the film, including Baldwin, Rust producers, six production companies – El Dorado Pictures, Thomasville Pictures, Short Porch Pictures, Brittany House Pictures, 3rd Shift Media and Streamline Global – armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed, First Assistant Director David Halls and others.
Mitchell, an industry veteran for over 40 years, was close to Hutchins’s body when Baldwin fired the gun that killed her. Joel Souza, who was later injured in an accident, is now the director.
This suit alleges assault and intentional infliction emotional distress. The suit also claims that the shooting scene did not need a gun.
I ran to 911, and told them, “Bring everyone, send everyone Mitchell,” during a press conference. “This woman was gone in the early stages of her career. She was an exceptional, rare and very rare woman.
Mitchell claimed she was less than 4 feet from Hutchins at the time she was shot, and that she was hit with residue.
She said, “I won’t forget the events that took place on Rust’s set that day.” “I can still recall the shots and hear the blast from the gun.
Mitchell stated that she felt depressed and scared for the future.
She added, “This terrible tragedy took away my joy in life.”
She claimed that she would like to see the same thing not happen to others as what was happening on set.
Mamie Mitchell (Rust script supervisor) was the first to dial 911 when Halyna Hutchins’s shot accidentally by Alec Baldwin at the movie’s set. She broke down today, announcing that she will sue Alec Baldwin, and the other producers of this low-budget Western movie.
Mitchell and Gloria Allred presented their suit, which includes allegations of assault, deliberate infliction and distress emotional, as well as infliction and harm.

Gloria Allred (L), wraps her arm around Rust script supervisor Mamie Mitchel as she walks from a press conference following the filing of the lawsuit
Mitchell’s high-powered attorney, Gloria Allred, alleged that live ammunition was brought to the set, that the assistant director improperly handed Baldwin the gun; Baldwin knew that the gun should’ve never been given to him and that he could not rely on any statement by the assistant director about whether or not the gun was safe to use.
Allred claimed that Alec Baldwin purposely, but without just cause or reason, fired the loaded gun despite the fact that the scene to be filmed didn’t call for it. ‘Mr. Baldwin decided to play Russian Roulette using a loaded gun, without it being checked or having it checked by the armorer.
‘Mr. Baldwin cannot conceal behind the Assistant Director in order to pretend that he checked the gun,’ Mitchell complains. Mitchell was present at the Bonanza Creek Ranch church where Baldwin’s quick draw’ rehearsal ended tragically.
Baldwin had to assume that the gun was loaded, until it was verified that it wasn’t loaded.
Allred stated last month that her client had evidence that will be helpful in the investigation and was interviewed by law enforcement. Allred also said that the assistant director advised him that the gun was safe and that he shouldn’t have fired it.
Mitchell declared, ‘I will not forget what occurred on the Rust set that day.’ I can still hear the sound of the gun’s explosion and remember the shooting.

Halyna HUTCHINS, director of Rust
Alec Baldwin (actor) is among the producers included in the suit and was called out specifically by Allred
Allred stated that they were conducting their own investigation into what occurred because of many unanswered queries. The Sheriff’s Department interviewed Mamie. This woman has evidence and information that she thinks will help in the investigation.
Baldwin and producers were accused of ‘negligent’ in their actions leading to the shooting.
Baldwin is also accused of not following industry standards by checking guns; she was also accused of being negligent.
All weapons and ammunition should be protected throughout the production. An armorer must also keep an eye on all guns. Allred claimed that the armorer left ammunition und guns unattended.
Allred claimed that Mitchell was near Halyna Utchins’ and Joel Souza’s when the shots were fired and ran to get out of the church.
Allred stated that Halyna was close friends and a colleague of Mamie in a statement last month. “She’s devastated at the loss of her best friend, who was an exceptional woman. Mamie was able to attend the Halyna vigil. Her heart went out to Halyna’s husband and son, with whom she had spoken.
Allred stated that her client was ‘traumatized’, and they have begun an investigation to find out what exactly happened.

Serge Svetnoy, in his suit, said that the bullet that killed Hutchins’ close friend, narrowly missed him. He held her head as she passed away.
Svetnoy’s attorney Gary A. Dordick stated Wednesday that the live rounds should have been stopped on this set.
Los Angeles Superior Court has filed a lawsuit against nearly twenty-six defendants in connection with the movie, which names Baldwin as both star AND producer. David Halls was the assistant director and handed Baldwin the gun. Hannah Gutierrez Reed was the head of weapons at the set.
The lawsuit is one of many that could arise from the October 21 shooting.
Svetnoy was working on the ninth film with Hutchins, and he took the job for low wages because she requested.
Svetnoy declared at the news conferece, “She was a friend of mine.”
According to him, he saw guns unattended in dirt during the shoot a few days prior and warned those responsible.
According to the suit, Baldwin was lighting up within six or seven feet of him on the day of shooting.
Plaintiff will be haunted by what happened next, according to the suit.
“He heard a weird and frightening whoosh from what felt like compressed air coming from his right. He experienced what he thought was gunpowder, and other residual substances directly striking his right side.
He then knelt down to assist Hutchins with his blurred vision and muffled hearing.
Both punitive and compensatory damages are sought in the lawsuit. These will be decided later. The plaintiff, as well as most defendants, filed the suit in Los Angeles County.

Emails and telephone messages seeking comments on the suit were not promptly answered by the attorneys and representatives of the defendants.
Jason Bowles, Gutierrez Reed’s attorney stated Wednesday in a statement that they were convinced the incident was sabotage. Hannah is now being framed. Our belief is that there was also a manipulation of the scene before the police arrived.
Bowles claimed that Bowles’ client had provided full interviews to the authorities, and that he continues to support them. This statement does not mention the lawsuit.
According to the statement, “We demand a complete and thorough investigation of all the facts” including the live rounds, their fate in the “dummies”, and the source of their entry.
Gutierrez Reed stated last week she had seen the Baldwin gun but didn’t know where a live bullet got in.
Mary Carmack-Altwies, Santa Fe’s District Attorney, stated investigators had not found any proof of sabotage.
Sascha Guinn Anderson, agency spokeswoman, confirmed the comments that she made, which were first broadcast on Good Morning America.
Carmack-Altwies claims that investigators have identified the person who loaded the gun. However, it is still unclear how the fatal round of ammunition reached the set. According to the district attorney, she was concerned about safety issues at all levels.
Dordick claimed at the news confer that it was far-fetched to believe that there was sabotage. However, Gutierrez Reed had the same responsibility as him to find out what gun was in it and who handled it.
Officials claim that Halls, an assistant director, gave the weapon to Baldwin. He also announced “cold gun” to let him know that the weapon was safe.
Halls claimed last week that he hopes the tragedy will prompt the film industry’s’review of its values and practice’ in order to prevent anyone being hurt again. However, he did not give any details.
Baldwin stated on video that October 30, the filming was a “one-in-a trillion event” and said, “We were a well-oiled crew, shooting a movie together, then this terrible event occurred.”
Detectives learned that Souza was Baldwin’s director and that he had pulled out his revolver from his belt and pointed it towards the camera. According to New Mexico court records Souza and Hutchins, Souza were involved in this scene.
Souza claimed that the scene didn’t call for live rounds. Gutierrez Reed stated that real ammunition should not have been used, as per court records.
Los Angeles claims that Baldwin was not required to fire the gun, but to simply point it.
Hollywood experts have been puzzled by the scenes of movie-set filming. Other production crews have taken safety measures to improve their security.
