Amir Khan has been investigated following live-streaming of eight minutes in which he drove his Range Rover Luxury on Christmas Day.
Mr Khan, 35, spoke to his fans on YouTube while at the wheel of his £100,000 vehicle near his home in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Although the ex-boxing champion appears not to have touched the screen, distracted drivers could be charged with driving without due attention.
Devices can be used by drivers “hands-free” if secured in a carrier. However, they may be subject to criminal charges if their driver is not in control.
The video shows Mr Khan giving shout-outs to his fans. He also appears relaxed, speaking about training constantly, never having to take a day off and preparing for the fight against Kell Brook in Manchester next month, The Sun reports.
Greater Manchester Police are currently investigating after Mr Khan drove live-stream.

MailOnline was told by a spokesperson that GMP had been made aware on Sunday, 2 January 2022 of a social media video which appeared to be taken while driving. Police are conducting an investigation.

A motorist who is caught driving dangerously or carelessly while using a hand-held or hands-free cellphone could be disqualified, fined and even sentenced to up to 2 years in prison.

MailOnline was told by an American Airlines spokesperson that Flight 700 had returned to the gate prior to taking off to remove two passengers who refused repeated requests from crew members to place their cell phones on airplane mode, stow baggage and comply with federal facial covering regulations.

According to the rules at that time, individuals should only have left their residence for allowed reasons. They were also told to keep their area.

Khan met Usman Buzdar (Chief Minister of Punjab Province) and took pictures together during the high-profile boxing competition on December 19. which he was a part of organizing in the country.
Khan was in Pakistan to take part in a number of boxing matches at Governor’s House Lahore. Faryal Makhdoom was with Khan for the photos.

MailOnline was contacted by Amir to apologize. He said: “I was wrong, and I am truly sorry for the British people. This party should have been for me and my friends. I realized that the message it sent was not right the moment I uploaded the video.
“It was stupid of me, and it was very foolish to do. My friends and I were also in danger. I wish I would have listened more to my own advice.
“I understand that some people call me hypocritical, but I promise to them I won’t do it again.”
Four years earlier, Khan was criticized by road safety organizations after being caught using a mobile phone while behind the wheel.
Faryal Makhdoom filmed the boxer in a video clip that she uploaded to Snapchat on October 2018. She has been accused by her husband of having a “blatant disregard for law.”
Later deleted from YouTube, the video was captioned “Lmfaooooo” as the couple drive in the car. At one point, he gives up the steering wheel and takes his hands off of the wheel.

Brake, a road safety charity Brake spokesperson said that it was disappointing to witness such disregard of the law from one our country’s boxing superstars. They should have known better.
