“Just Like That …:” Fans feel heartache watching Willie Garson die on the SATC reboot… before his last episode.










HBO aired the first episodes of the Sex and the City revival And Just Like That… overnight.

The late Willie Garson was also featured in them, just three months after his death from pancreatic cancer at the age of 56 on September 21st 2021. 

Twitter users vented their sorrow following the episode premiere, and episode two’s debut. The episode was broadcast ahead of next week’s third and final episode.

A fan said that periwinkle was the colour of 2022 and Stannie had made the right choice.

Another person stated that “Watching Willie Garson’s passing is very difficult.”

A person said that they were devastated by the incident. 

Willie Blatch, the character he played on the SATC films and series, passed away in September, at the age of just 57.

He was battling pancreatic carcinoma.

Before his death in fall, Willie had been filming scenes with the cast over the summer.

Three episodes of the series feature him, two of which will air on HBO on Thursday’s show premiere.

Willie will appear in three episodes. The final episode is still available. His co-star Cynthia Nixon revealed that Willie would appear in three episodes.

 Fans also lamented on social media about major plot twists, including the death of a main character as well as the absence of Kim Cattrall, who did not want to appear in the series due to her relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker.

This is the return of the original TV series, which debuted 23 years ago. It also marks 11 years since the first movie. Sarah played Carrie Bradshaw and Cynthia Nixon starred as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin as Charlotte York.
