After armed police stormed an office building, four people were arrested for burglary and threats of murder.
After a report that a group of weapons-wielding people were in Manchester’s central business district, police rushed to Store Street.
Police say that the landlord confronted the group before three women and one man were detained.
Store Street and Ducie Street were both closed near Manchester Piccadilly’s railway station while machine gun-wielding officers responded.
Police said that the police helicopter assisted in the rescue of some group members who fled the area on foot.
Video shows officers with guns patrolling caravans close to the building while the helicopter of the police could be heard above.

An armoured police officer was seen at the caravans of Store Street, near a central Manchester office building.
MailOnline received a statement from Greater Manchester Police stating that “a group of men with guns were reported inside a building, before they were confronted and arrested by the property owner.”
After being informed that the group was carrying a gun, armed officers arrived on the scene. The National Police Air Service also assisted the victims who fled the area by foot.
“Three male and one female were taken into custody on suspicion of possessing a firearm, burglary, and threats to murder.” They are currently being held in police custody.
Officers searched the area, but found no weapon.
Police say that inquiries continue.
A Section 61 notice, which orders the group to vacate tomorrow’s meeting was issued by police.
