A truck that crashed into the Rotterdam neighborhood barbeque killed three Dutch residents.
Rotterdam police posted on their Twitter account that the cargo truck had crashed into a group while they were enjoying a barbecue. There are several people who have died and many others that were taken to the hospital.
According to the police, the investigation into the circumstances that caused the truck in Nieuw-Beijerland south of Rotterdam was ongoing. It then continued on the side road of a dike at about 7pm.
The injured people were at a barbecue held by the IJsclub de Kom, 18 miles south from Rotterdam. When the truck drove off the Zuidzijdsedijk narrow road and collided into the crowd, it caused serious injuries.
Others have been taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries, reported the Dutch media.
This accident happened in the Netherlands one day after six people were hurt when a van driver crashed into a busy cafe terrace in central Brussels.
