According to neighbours, an attacker killed a mother of three and then cut her corpse in quiet Welsh villages.

June Fox-Roberts was 65 years old and director of the company. Her detached, three-bedroomed home in Llantwit Fardre (near Pontypridd), where she had been living alone, was discovered empty.

Neighbors revealed that Mrs Fox-Roberts had been found with “extreme injuries” in her family’s property over 30 years.

One person said, “We heard that she was unable to move her legs or arms. We also believe that the chainsaw was used.” This is absolutely unbelievable.

Sam Trask, Conservative Councillor said that he had spoken with the commander of the police and heard that the injuries sustained were horrific. It was an admirable, kind woman who everybody liked. This is quite shocking.

After police searched nearby woodland, a man was taken into custody two days later. He is still in police custody.
