The President Joe Biden and the top liberals have been ridiculed for their old support of Jussie Mollett’s conviction in tweets.

Biden and Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, as well as a number of liberal celebrities, are being questioned about their support for Smollett’s tweets on the exact same day of the January 2019 attack. He was found guilty of falsifying the incident on Thursday.

After the beating, Biden tweeted hours later: “Whatever happened to @jussiesmollett today must not be tolerated here in this country.”

“We must demand that this hateful harbor is closed off; that racism and homophobia have no place in our homes or on our streets. Jussie, we are here for you.

Referring to Jussie Smollet, President Joe Biden tweeted shortly after the incident in 2019: What happened today to @Jussie Smollet must never be tolerated in this country. We must stand up and demand that we no longer give this hate safe harbor; that homophobia and racism have no place on our streets or in our hearts. We are with you, Jessie.'

Joe Biden sent this tweet shortly after the 2019 incident: @JussieSmollet was hurt. This should not be allowed in our country. This hate must be stopped. We have to stand up for it. Homophobia and racism should not be allowed on our streets. Jessie, we are here for you.

The Democratic Candidate had previously written: 'Jussie Smollett is one of the kindest, most gently human beings I know.  I¿m praying for his quick recovery. This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate'

The Democratic Candidate previously wrote: “Jussie, you are one of the most kind and gentlest human beings that I have ever met.”  I’m praying for his quick recovery. This was an attempt at modern day lynching. There should be no reason to feel unsafe because of the color or sexual orientation of a person. It is time to confront hate.

Kamala Harris was also a California Senator and Presidential Candidate. She shared her own mimicking tweet on the same day.

She said, “@jussiesmollett has been one of my most kind and gentle friends.” I’m praying for his quick recovery. It was a modern-day lynching attempt. A person shouldn’t have to be afraid for their safety because they are gay or of their skin color. It is time to confront hate.

The now embarrassing tweets are still available on their Twitter accounts and have attracted many mocking comments in the aftermath of Smollett’s guilty verdict.

Donald Trump Jr. also shared a collage with pro-Jussie tweets from top liberals including Harris and Biden missives.

Donald Trump shared many of the old tweets siding with Jussie in the wake of the faked attack, and added his own sarcastic commentary

Donald Trump shared many old tweets supporting Jussie after the attack. He also added his own humorous commentary.

His caption was: #JusticeForJussie We got him guys, we got the man that committed this horrible act. #juicy’

Don Jr. responded to another tweet of civil rights campaigner Reverend Al Sharpton via Twitter. He said, “The guilty must face all the consequences.”

The former president’s son added: ‘I’m with you Al, I think all of America is with you on this one. All guilty should be punished to the full extent of their punishment.

Smollett might spend up to 20 years in prison. Smollett is widely believed to be sentenced to a term of imprisonment.

Trump Jr later added his own thoughts to the matter, tweeting: ‘I’m just happy to live in a country where people will go to jail for attacking a gay black man… There’s absolutely no place for that s**t in America, or anywhere else, and I am happy the perpetrator was brought to justice.’

Another liberal star whose pro-Jussie tweets are now very poor includes Alexandria OcasioCortez, a Democratic representative and Squad member as well Rashida Talib.

AOC tweeted: ‘There is no such thing as “racially charged.” This attack was not “possibly” homophobic. It was racist and homophobic.

‘If you don’t like what is happening to our country, then work to change it. It is no one’s job to water down or sugar-coat the rise of hate crimes.’

Tlaib stated that “When one of America’s most prominent black or gay men isn’t safe, it is more clear than ever.” The dangerous lies spewing from the right wing is killing & hurting our people. I am thinking of @jussiesmollett and all my LGBTQ neighbors.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was one of the other top Democrats that criticized the debunked beating. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is another.

Pelosi said: “The racist, homophobic attack upon @JussieSmollett was an affront against our humanity. Nobody should be attacked because of who they are and whom they love.

Liberal Democrats, including House majority speaker Nancy Pelosi and 'squad members' Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashia Tialb (D-MN) added their voices to the clamor, demanding justice for the actor who conjured up painful images of not-so distant American history

The House majority speaker Nancy Pelosi, along with’squad members,’ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, and Rashia Tialb, are Liberal Democrats. They also demand justice for the actor responsible for conjuring up the painful images from not-so-distant American history.

‘I pray that Jussie has a speedy recovery & that justice is served. May we all commit to ending this hate once & for all.’

Bernie was furious: “The racist and homophobic assault on Jussie Stullett are a horrifying example of rising hostility to minorities in the country. It is imperative that we all work together in order to eliminate violence and bigotry.

Smollett (39), told Chicago police that he was attacked by two unknown men in a darkened alley. Smollett, 39, said that two masked men accosted him on a darkened street and used chemicals to attack him. The assailants also shouted homophobic and racist slurs at him.

A number of A-list actors and political leaders have again supported Jussie since his conviction for lying.

In his defense of Harris, Sen. Cory Booker echoed Harris’ claim that the attack was similar to a lynching, and used it to justify Congress passing an anti-lynching law.

The vicious attack against actor Jussie Mollett was modern-day execution. Booker wrote in January 2019 that he was happy for him and thanked the public. ‘To those in Congress who don’t feel the urgency to pass our Anti-Lynching bill designating lynching as a federal hate crime– I urge you to pay attention.’

CNN host Don Lemon (right), who had also come to Smollett's (left) defense, allegedly alerted his longtime friend shortly after the hoax attack that Chicago police didn't believe his tale, Smollett testified in court Monday. Lemon has remained silent about the allegations

Supermodel Naomi Campbell also supported Smollett in the wake of his attack

Naomi Campbell, supermodel, supported Smollett during his attack.

Lori Lighfoot, Mayor of Chicago, criticized the Chicago Police Department’s investigation into the incident and tweeted that she would’make sure that regardless of victim’s status, hate crimes incidents or complaints are thoroughly investigated’

Although prosecutors stated that there was “overwhelming evidence” that Smollett staged the attack, and later lied about it to the police, Smollett insisted that he wasn’t guilty.

After the attack Smollett appeared on television numerous times, saying that he would ‘never heal’ and that he wouldn’t be able to get justice. However, it was painfully evident that he orchestrated his own assassination. Not only does this affect the validity of victim statements in future, but it also wastes time and resources.

Five felony counts were filed against the ex-Empire actor who is openly gay and of black descent. over accusations that he made false reports to the police.

Dozens of celebrities, including Reese Witherspoon, Zendaya and Ariana Grande among other celebrities and politicians, some now part of the Biden Administration, backed Jussie Smollet and asked for change in the way hate crimes are currently investigated

Numerous celebrities including Zendaya, Reese Witherspoon and Ariana Grande, along with other politicians and celebrities are now supporting Jussie. They also asked for changes in how hate crimes are investigated

Smollett was a victim of a slew of attacks in the weeks following his incident. As Smollett’s story unravelled, the left came under scrutiny. But many celebs stood behind him.

He insists that he is telling the truth. He is also known by many people who know him.

“The Jussie, I know, could not even think of something so terrible and unimaginable.” Terrence Howard (actor who worked alongside Smollett for Empire) said, “His innocence or judgement is not for us to determine.”

“Stay within your lane” and I will be there for you. My lane includes empathy, love and compassion. This is the way that I’ve known my son for five-years. God judges, and we have the responsibility to love and support those whom God claims to have loved.

His former co-star Taraji P. Henson added: ‘I know him and I know his track record. Clickbait is not something I will do. I won’t click on someone saying something negative about someone I love and know. This is not how I am able to be influenced.

Among the first to leap to Smollett's defense were Kamala Harris (right) and Cory Booker, both of whom referred to the attack as a 'modern day lynching'

Booker (pictured) used the attack as a platform to push his anti-lynching bill

Kamala (left) and Cory Booker were the first ones to come to Smollett’s aid.

“Those tiny clickbaits” [reports]I was not able to resist his impeccable record. I know the type of activism this young man does in his community, I know that he’s a giver – he’s not an attention-seeker,’ the actress continued.

Others, however, criticized the actor’s lies.

Harris has retracted her original statement, saying that she had seen reports concerning Jussie Mollett and was saddened, frustrated and disappointed.

According to the then-senator who believes accusations in support of her political agenda, as shown by her belief that Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh were true (a belief she later called a “sham”), his false accusations are damaging America’s progress.

‘When anyone makes false claims to the police, it not only diverts resources away from serious investigations but makes it more difficult for other victims of crime to come forward.’

Harris didn’t hesitate to express her frustrations but she continued, insisting that hate crimes are on the rise in America. Harris used an FBI number of 17% increase as evidence.

She said, “Particularly the tragedy of this scenario is that it distracts form that truth” and was seized by people who wish to minimize or downplay the real issues we need to address.

We should not permit that. I will continue to condemn homophobia and racism. It is essential that we confront hatred directly, and seek justice. It is this that I will fight for.

“I stand behind what I have said always. When the attack occurred, I felt for him and I feel that the latest reports make me feel as if I am being played. Straight up,’ echoed Straight Outta Compton actor O’Shea Jackson Jr.

Smollett, 39, (seen in this court sketch from his Dec. 2021 trial) told Chicago police he had been accosted on a darkened street by two masked strangers. According to his account of the attack, the assailants threw a noose around his neck and poured chemicals on him while yelling racist and homophobic slurs and expressing support for then-President Donald Trump

Smollett (39), is shown in the court sketch of his Dec. 2021 trial. He told Chicago police that he was accosted by two unidentified men on a darkened street. His account states that the attackers tied Smollett’s neck with a rope and then poured chemicals upon him, shouting racist and homophobic abuses and supporting the current President Donald Trump.

However, as his tale began to derail, many people slammed Smollett (pictured in his Dec. 2021 trial) for his lies

But, his story began to unravel and many blamed Smollett (pictured during his Dec. 2021 trial).

Harris also felt the same way. As more details about the attackers emerged, it wasSmollett lied and it was evident. Booker did not pass judgment on the actor.

He stated to reporters that ‘the information is still being released, and I’m going withhold until the complete information comes from on-the record sources’ in February 2019.

CNN’s Don Lemon was also present to defend the star and allegedly alerted longtime friend just after the hoax. Smollett, who testified at court Monday that Chicago police did not believe him, said so.

Lemon stated to his viewers that he kept in touch with Smollett throughout the aftermath of the attack. The story was personal for him as the two were close friends.

According to him, the actor is ‘innocent unless proven guilty’. He also claimed that he would have’squandered a lot of goodwill’ for lying if he were not.

Lemon is silent now about Smollett’s allegation of him tipping off.

Dave Chappelle, a comedian, vented his anger at the silence shown by the left on Smollett’s lies. Not discrediting actor claims made it worse.

Jussie Smollett's (pictured) hoax attack trial demonstrated just how quickly one man's lies and automatic support from left-wing leaders can damage the civil rights movement in America

Jussie and Jussie Smollett (pictured) were victims of a hoax attack. This trial showed just how rapidly one man’s lies can be spread by left-wing leaders, causing damage to the civil rights movement.

‘What they didn’t understand is that we were supporting him with our silence,’ he stated in his 2019 Netflix special Sticks & Stones.

We understood it! [he]He clearly lied. All of this was clearly false. [he] is! Empire doesn’t belong on your TV!

Civil rights activists have also called lies an obstacle to their work.

According to Michael Eric Dyson, sociologist at Georgetown University and the Associated Press, “Black people will perceive this as a negative mark.” In February 2019, Dyson stated that Dyson said.

“Given the potential consequences, it does not serve anyone. It does not help the police department. It does not help black activism. It doesn’t benefit Mr. Smollett. Everyone loses, and no one wins.

“This casts a shadow on whether [victims are]”Telling the truth” and all this in the name self-promotion,” the then-Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel Emanuel stated to reporters during a 2019 news conference.

“He used the hate crime laws, which all of us have collectively put on the books over many years to defend the values that represent what we believe. It is an act of whitewashing justice.
