In haunting crime scene photographs, we reveal the plush Florida hotel room where Bob Saget died after mysteriously hitting his head on the ceiling.
Police searched every object and surface in Room 962, Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grand Lakes. They were looking for evidence that Saget could have fractured his skull.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office released a cache of photos Tuesday showing the comedian’s padded headboard, walk-in bathtub, desk, and minibar.
Saget was 65 years old when he died. However, investigators did not determine what caused his death. They suggested that Saget fell on the floor or onto the headboard in their last report.
According to their report, “Our goal was to identify specific areas or objects in the room which could have contributed to the trauma detected on autopsy.”
‘The countertops, tables, nightstands, and other hard furniture in the room all had sharply defined edges and corners and were thought to be unlikely due to the fact that they would have lacerated the skin,’ the report added.
The counters at the toilet and in the shower stall were the same reasons. The couches and chairs were all thickly upholstered, and could have been responsible for the injuries that Mr. Saget sustained. As mentioned, the majority of the suite had carpeting. The headboard of bed was lightly padded, and slightly placed outward from the wall.
These mechanisms are listed as potential causes of injury. But, there was no evidence in the room to support a conclusion.

Photographs of the crime scene at Ritz-Carlton Orlando show inside room 962. It is here that Full House legend Bob Saget was beaten to death and his skull broken.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office released the photos Tuesday. Saget drove himself from Jacksonville to a stand up gig, before handing the keys of his Chevrolet Impala over and entering the Ritz-Carlton at 2:33am.

According to the report, room 962’s door was locked from the inside. There was no evidence of struggle and nothing was broken.
Saget, who had just returned from Jacksonville for a stand up gig at a comedy club two hours earlier, handed over his keys to the Chevrolet Impala before walking into Ritz-Carlton at 2:33am.
After being filmed on CCTV, the father of three was then seen walking purposefully through the lobby before entering his room at 02:07. After he didn’t check out, security allowed him into his luxurious suite at 3:53 pm. They found Saget dead on his bed with small bruises around his eye and swelling.
According to the report, room 962’s door was locked from the inside. There was no evidence of struggle or damage, and the sheets and bedding were clean.
Unexpectedly, Saget found the door to the 961 adjoining room unlocked. Staff confirmed however that Saget wasn’t there. Saget, who was walking inside the hotel to take a photo with Orlando Nunez (21-year-old valet worker), had briefly stopped for the moment. Nunez informed Saget that he was still recovering from Covid.
Later, cops used the selfie as evidence to prove that Saget had not been injured when he returned to his bedroom.
“He was wearing a mask at the time so I didn’t know who it was,” Nunez said. Nunez said that it was fine for him to remove the mask because he had taken Covid twice.
“I recognised the voice, but only after he removed it that I realized it was Bob Saget. It was so wonderful to finally meet you. ‘I didn’t see any injuries, he didn’t seem hurt, he wasn’t slurring his words – he was exactly as I remembered while watching him on the TV as a child. “I was stunned.”
Nunez claimed that Nunez and Nunez chatted for several minutes about California’s pandemic, their family members, and California. Then Nunez took a photograph on his phone. Nunez continued, “He claimed he just drove back from Jacksonville, but he didn’t appear tired at all. It was almost like he just stepped onto the stage.”
He joked about Covid’s many varieties and how they now have sorority names. I actually was more cautious than I should have been about the image because I wanted it to look polite and respectful. However, he told me to get in there.
“I have met many celebrities, but Bob is the most approachable and genuine person I’ve ever seen. The next day, I found out what happened and was shocked.
“People ask me lots of questions, but I think that there’s a larger pitcher than we all are missing. It is my wish that he rests in peace.

This is a diagram that shows Saget’s injuries, which ultimately led to his death due to a brain hemorhage.

Saget’s death has been ruled accidental, but Orange County investigators weren’t able to find out how he fractured his skull.

Saget’s sudden death shocked his worldwide fan base and left Kelly Rizzo in shock. Kelly said that Saget was at his happiest and was in good health.
His Covid diagnosis was confirmed by an autopsy. Dr. Joshua Stephany from Orange County Medical Examiner determined that there were no drugs or alcohol involved in the sudden death. Experts also said that drugs and alcohol were not the reason for the funnyman’s death. However, Dr. Joshua Stephany of Orange County Medical Examiner ruled out the possibility. He attributed his beloved comedy act’s passing to ‘blunt Force Injuries to the Head’ which include abrasions to scalp and fractures in base of skull.
Dr Stephany stated that despite the fact that Robert Saget was 65 years old and white, his death is likely due to blunt head trauma. The most likely explanation is that Saget was struck in the back of the head by an unintentional fall. It is possible that the manner in which he died was an accident.
Saget had just finished his tour for his “I Don’t Do Negative Comedies Tour” when he was struck by lightning.
Investigators talked to several witnesses at Ponte Vedra Beach outside Jacksonville about the gig, and none could recall him drinking or acting unusually.
Hertz verified that the car was in good condition when it arrived at Ritz-Carlton.
Last week, the judge granted permanent protection to a court order prohibiting release of videos and photos relating to Saget’s death. This was after Saget’s family had filed suit against him to keep them from being published in newspapers and online.
