26-year-old boyfriend offers to help with housework, but he breaks his LEG when he trips over the vacuum cord and falls down the stairs

  • She explained that she saw him getting tangled up in the vacuum cord. It seemed like he was trying to pull a fast one.










After he fell down the stairs and tripped on the vacuum cord, a boyfriend offered to help with housework. 

Nathan Marsh, 26, from Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, was forced to spend four weeks resting in bed and six weeks in a cast. 

Bethan Watling (24 year old fiancee) didn’t believe that he was in pain. She thought he was simply trying to do the chores. 

According to her, she told Sun that he had been found in a pile near the bottom of stairs. He was wrapped in vacuum cords and could not walk.

Nathan Marsh (26 years old) from Rhondda Cynon Taf in Wales was made to rest in bed for four weeks and then in a cast for six weeks.

But his fiancee Bethan Watling (pictured together), 24, didn't believe he was actually in pain and thought he was just trying to get out of doing the housework

“I thought that he was pulling an extremely fast one.” 

Finally, Ms Watling realized that Mr Marsh was not lying and called an ambulance. Paramedics were unable to transfer Marsh into a wheelchair. 

After the window had been removed, Mr Marsh was strapped to a board by the fire brigade.  

Ms Watling said that Mr Marsh’s antics had at least gotten him to stop doing the housework upstairs. Ms Watling stated that she still tries to convince Mr Marsh to clean up upstairs, but he has not shown any interest.
