After a horrific car accident while visiting family at Christmas, a five-year old British boy was left fighting for his life in an Italian medical center.
Dominic Boschetti, from Bromsgrove, was in the car with his father Giuseppe when they were hit by a lorry in Montichiari, Lombardy.
Giuseppe needed to administer CPR immediately for his son after he broke his legs during the crash. Dominic also lost consciousness.

Now, he is hooked up to an automatic life support device, snuggling his Teddy Bear, his mother Jordan, at his bedside.
Dominic has been taken off of the ventilator, but is in critical condition. His family claims that he’s living a terrible nightmare.
A GoFundMe appeal set up to help the family has raised £15,392.
Corin Hetherington (his uncle and Jordan’s brother) said to WorcestershireLive: “Unfortunately, there is not yet any improvement.
“Dominic has eyes open but doesn’t appear to have them.”
“It’s like living in a horrible nightmare.”
Redditch’s Corin stated that Dominic is now at his side.

Dominic is no longer on the ventilator. However, he remains in critical condition. The family says that Dominic’s life is a “terrible nightmare”.
“Jordan is like a rock and with Dominic. She is strong, confident and doesn’t cry in front her son. “She is incredible,” he stated.
“He’s off the ventilator, but he’s still in a coma. Guiseppe will go to specialist hospitals next week so that he can begin his rehabilitation for broken legs.
Guiseppe was praised for his courage and quick thinking, which helped Dominic survive the cardiac arrest at the scene.
They don’t yet know if Guiseppe will be able to walk. “I still can’t believe he was able to pull Dominic out of his car, considering how fragile his legs are,” he stated.
“Maybe it was adrenaline. Or the desire to protect my son, but I do not know.

The GoFundMe appeal has a target of £25,000 to help Jordan as she spends months in Italy caring for her son.
It has had donations from across the world – with amounts ranging from £5 to an anonymous one of £1,000.
Family members expressed gratitude for the support they received from the public in their time of greatest need.
Corin stated that there is support for Dominic and a willingness to help him get better. We want to let everyone know how much love and support we have received.
“The love, support, and incredible generosity that we’ve received has been nothing but amazing.
