Britney Spears sent Jamie Lynn Spears a cease and desist letter requesting that she stop speaking about her.

Jamie Lynn is on a promotion tour for her book, “Things That I Should have Said”. Britney’s legal counsel stated that the book contains misleading and outlandish claims about Jamie Lynn.

Mathew Rosengart is now writing a severe letter to Jamie Lynn. He demands that Jamie Lynn ‘cease & desist from making derogatory remarks about Britney’ and threatens to take ‘all the appropriate legal actions’ if she does not. 

The letter stated that Britney wanted to write to us with hesitation, as she doesn’t want to draw attention to her ill-timed book or make outrageous claims about Britney.

Britney did not read or intend to read your book. However, millions of Britney’s fans were surprised to discover how you had exploited Britney to make monetary gains. It will not be tolerated by her, and it should not.

The letter comes as Britney hit out against Jamie Lynn and her mother Lynne in a fiery Instagram post in which she said she should have slapped them both ‘across their f***ing faces’.

Britney was raised under Jamie Spears’ conservatorship for many years. However, Rosengart stated that Britney would not be ‘bullied by’ anyone anymore.

It continued, “You, of all people, know the abuse Britney endured during the conservatorship after growing up with an alcoholic father. 

According to your memoir, “In truth, my father spent the majority of my life in that vicious cycle of reckless behavior.” He drank excessively, causing me torment and sadness.

Britney won’t be bullied or manipulated by her father, nor anyone else, after she was subject to a 13 year conservatorship.

Jamie Lynn was charged with ‘airing fake or fantastical grievances to gain publicity for her book’. She warned her sister that she will pursue further legal action against her sister if they continue to talk about their relationship.

Page Six received the letter for the first time. It stated that Britney was the breadwinner of her family and also supported you in other ways. It is not right to publicly air false grievances or fantasies, particularly when it is done in order to sell books. You could also be considered illegal or defamatory.

Michelle Obama once famously stated, “When they go low we go high.” Britney deserves a lot of credit for this.

According to reports, you recently stated that the book wasn’t about Britney. “She takes your word for it and demands that you refrain from making derogatory references to Britney during your promotional campaigns.

Britney may take legal action against you if she fails to comply or is defamated.

News of the letter comes as Britney hit out at her sister and mother in a wild Instagram post in which she said she should have ‘slapped’ her family members ‘across your f***ing faces.’ 

In her since-deleted post, 40-year-old singer–songwriter seemed to take aim at her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, 30, for having gotten a cushier upbringing and a starring role on TV when she was just a child.

Lynne Spears also lashed out at her mother for not supporting her following her separation from Justin Timberlake.

Jamie Lynn’s sources told TMZ they were ‘disturbed by’ the Instagram video and feared for their safety. Jamie Lynn claims Britney feels ‘immense jealousy’ over Britney’s childhood.

Jamie Lynn has been receiving death threats from Britney every time she posts, according to a source. She’s asked for her resignation with no success.

Britney wrote a post last week that featured stock photos of sweet holiday drinks. It seemed like Britney was mocking her sister for drinking the same beverages.

Her sister recalled sitting at home, enjoying an easy lifestyle after her split from Timberlake. However, her mother wasn’t able to provide support for her since she was taking too much medication.

She said that Timberlake was her only family and that it was shocking that this had happened to her.

Spears reserved the harshest words of her rage for her sister, mother, and father at the close of her long caption. 

‘I’m sorry Jamie Lynn, I wasn’t strong enough to do what should have been done … slapped you and Mamma right across your f***ing faces !!!!!’ she wrote. 

Britney and Jamie Lynn have been getting into a public spat with each other in the last few weeks. Britney even called Jamie Lynn a scumperson after her claim that Britney was holding a knife.

Jamie Lynn responded by telling Britney that Britney should talk with her privately and that it was okay to stop the story about me not being there for her or making up things.

Jamie Lynn, a podcast interviewee on ‘Call Her Daddy,’ spoke out about Britney’s memoir. But it remains to be seen if Jamie Lynn will publish the podcast in light the legal warning.
