Cadillac unveiled its InnerSpace concept autonomous car at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. This short film is just as powerful as Cadillac’s two-seater luxury automobile.

InnerSpace has a cocoon like cabin. It allows you to sit in a loveseat and watch the panoramic screen from the front.

With the curve display, passengers can select between Augmented Reality Engagement and Entertainment as well as Wellness Recovery themes to drive.

Cadillac’s owner GM was one of many companies to withdraw from CES. Instead, they opted for an internet presentation. This is all due to the lingering coronavirus pandemic.

According to GM, the company’s ‘new InnerSpace concept reimagines this vision with a completely autonomous experience that allows passengers to concentrate on their journey, not driving.

Bryan Nesbitt (GM executive director), Global Advanced Design and Global Architecture Studio stated that ‘Electrification, autonomous driving, and electronic steering will profoundly transform the roles of vehicles as well as the experience customers have with them.

“We’re looking at where this will take us with these new concepts. Mobility is an ally for wellness. We want to give customers more luxury and personal time than we are taking.

GM presented a single-seat electric vertical takeoff/landing (eVTOL), aircraft at 56 mph during last year’s CES.

It also introduced a luxurious autonomous luxury shuttle for two.

GM would launch its first venture into flying mobility with the sleek and self-driving drone.

It claims that it owns four rotors driven by one 90-kWh electric motor, which can produce speeds of up to 56 mph.

GM didn’t reveal any details about its flying taxi autonomous, but it is expected to target the luxury market if it launches.

Simcoe explained, “It is a concept that is for a moment where time is of essence and convenience are everything.”

GM also showed off a rectangular-shaped Cadillac Personal Autonomous Vehicle (PAV) that provides a social space for passengers – similar to a limo but without a driver at the wheel.
