“It is crazy to be finally together after so many phone calls and visits, but it feels like we’ve been friends forever. We don’t have any awkward moments.

‘I had no idea. He would propose to everyone, and I was not optimistic.

“I was skeptical that he would do it, but he went to the store and bought it the following day.

Harley said, “Since my escape it’s just seemed unreal. The amazing thing is that it still feels unreal.

She said, “I knew that I was going to propose” to me when I got out. I’ve had her support in prison and she was just as good as me. She has a big heart and would do anything to help you.

She said, “You couldn’t find a better partner” so she asked me to marry her.

‘But after he had his GPS installed and all the details sorted, we were finally able to spend some good quality time together.

“The first thing we did together, was go to a huge food market. Harley had been looking forward to it after eating in prison for so long.

“He came over every morning at 7:15 am, let me have a lie in and cooked me breakfast. He likes to cook and has missed it.

“We are only two minutes from the beach, so every day we take the dog along and enjoy the view and a walk on the shore.

“We are hoping to relocate down here, because it is so beautiful here and away form everything else as a new start.”

Harley said, “Meeting Breah is a change in my life. Before that, after I lost my mother, I was alone, lost and wandering around prisons, with the wrong people, and on the wrong path.

“But now I’m moving from London and Swindon to settle down with Breah. It is going well.”

Breah shared her story about how they first met. She explained that a friend of mine was in prison talking with someone and Breah asked if she wanted to speak to him because his friend had already asked.

“I thought, why not? I have nothing to lose. I had been single for 2 years.

‘I didn’t enter it intending to have this boy be my boyfriend, or any other kind of thing. I was just talking with him as a friend.

‘I was quite nervous when I started, and had never experienced anything like it before or any knowledge of how prison operates.

“I was surprised at his way of speaking to me. His language was different than what I was used to. His kindness was amazing, I felt very grateful.

“I realized that I was falling for him about a month in to our conversation because we spoke so often.

“We were both feeling the same, but we were scared to talk about it. My friend then said that to him: You need to tell her I love her.

“The boy she was talking about with her friend wasn’t serious and was only talking for fun. I assumed it would be that way so it shocked me completely.

She also attacked ‘jealous,’ trolls that call her a gold digger. She said they spoil one another because they’re in a relationship and added that she has a designer outfit waiting for him.

Harley was last sentenced for burglary in April 2017. He was held there for 48 months. But, because of conflict with a former partner during the term, he was released on January 20,22.

However, she managed to get past it and see a bright future for him. His honesty and his efforts to improve his life were rewarded by his willingness to share his experiences with others.
