Seven Seas Splendor, a luxurious cruise ship, is about to embark on its inaugural Christmas Eve season. Channel 5 cameras were allowed onto board for an hour-long documentary on Christmas Eve. It reveals behind-the scenes secrets of the 542 crew who work tirelessly around the clock in order to make sure that guests have a wonderful time.
John Barron, Cruise Director, leads crew to give ship a beautiful Christmas makeover. The ship’s crew uses 70 boxes of decorations and erects three Christmas trees in atrium. There are 15 other Christmas trees around the rest of ship. A 260ft garland wraps the staircase’s central part.

With 70 Christmas decorations in their hands, the crew transforms the ship into a Christmas wonderland. The crew erects three Christmas trees atrium-wide and fifteen trees around the ship’s interior. A 260ft garland wraps around the staircase.

Seven Seas Splendor will have a staggering amount of wine and cheese, as well as approximately 200lbs worth of geese and 600lbs turkey. There will also be eight types of Christmas cookies and 1,000 pumpkin pie portions. All are included in the price of your meal.
It can all be enjoyed by guests in total luxury.
Seven Seas Splendor was described by Regent Seven Seas Cruises as elegant and timeless. She is built using the best craftsmanship and with meticulous attention to details.
It adds that she offers luxury at its highest level.
Seven Seas Splendor stocks approximately 200lbs geese and 600lbs turkey during the holiday season. There will also be eight types of Christmas cookies, 1000 portions of pumpkin pie, and 200 logs in Buche de Noel.
