This is the result of hundreds of Instagram influencers who flooded a Sydney street to take perfect Instagram photos among Jacaranda trees.

These canopies, which turn stunning purple each spring, make a great profile photo for social media users. However locals of McDougall Street on Kirribilli’s North Shore were furious at the extra attention.

Residents of Kirribilli found it hard to navigate the streets due to social media-obsessed photographer blocking traffic.

Many influencers gather on a quiet Sydney street to take perfect pictures of Jacaranda trees in bloom (photo taken at McDougall Street, Sydney’s Kirribilli).

Insta-stars were often seen taking photos in the middle streets trying to show their best sides, and photographers searching for the perfect angle to photograph the flowers.

Due to the heavy presence of street traffic, cars trying to navigate the narrow roads were frequently blocked by photographers taking photographs. These people then scurried off the roadway before returning to block the route.
